House of Hugs - Guild Banners!

We have banners for you to use! =D
All banners are within siggy-restriction limits.

If I ever get too much bandwidth usage, the images may be moved to another server. If that happens the URL's of the images will change and these old codes will no longer work. You'll have to come back here and get the new ones.

These banners are for you to use in your siggy's, profiles, journals, threads or wherever on Gaia that you'd like to see them. =D

Banner Making and Submitting

Banner Submission
If you would like to submit a banner, please PM(Private Message) the URL(Image Link) of the banner to PandaHugSmoothie.

Your banner may or may not be accepted if it is deemed inappropiate by the Guild Captain.

Examples of things we would like to see on any banners you would care to make are:
Happy Things | Hugs | Kitties | Candy

Please, do not use images created by other Gaia users unless you have their express, written permission.(It may be a violation of Gaia's TOS)

You can put anything on your banner that you would like to, although again; your banner may or may not be accepted.
Also, we would like if if you could host the image at your own image server account.

Banner Making

Creating an Image

You're going to need some kind of graphics program, like; Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or Microsoft Paint.
PSP and PS cost money(some serious money), but if you have Windows you'll already have Paint although this program is limited.

For a fairly good FREE graphics program go here: Paint.NET. It's kind of like Microsoft Paint except there is way more graphic capability.

After creating an image (No more than 500x500 pixels/100kb[100,000bites]) save it as a jpeg/jpg or gif.

Now that you have a banner you'll need to upload it to an image server. Here are some that I like:

| Tiny Pic

The first one, Photobucket, is by far the easiest one to use.
Image Shack is gives alot of space, but sometimes it can be hard to get to, also; you can never lose the registration link, it's the only way you can log in.
Tiny Pic is fine, you don't have to sign up and the URL's it provides are very small(good for saving space) but, since you can't create an account you'll have to keep track of each and every thing you upload, yourself.

After you've uploaded it each site will provide you with the images URL. It'll look like this:

http://i3.tinypic.com/161lxme.jpg

Copy the URL and paste it into the BBC Code Image Tags.
It'll look like this:

[img]http://i3.tinypic.com/161lxme.jpg[/img]

And you get this! User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

This is an example of a Tiny Pic uploaded image. The only difference there would be for Photobucket and Image Shack would be a longer URL. =)
