About Panda And Why We Love & Miss Her Panda joined Gaia on May 1st, 2005.
She's 24, and she was a wonderful part of Gaia. She started the Hug Thread as a place for any and all people to come together and be good to one another. It wasn't about donating gold or giving items to people, it was just about being a good person.
People came to the Hug Thread, curious about it and what it was. The original thread (and the current one, too) was right in the middle of the Chatterbox. The spammiest place on Gaia where most people were disregarded, treated rudely or unfairly( sometimes both!) and became lost amidst the sea of spam, lack of manners and abuse.
But Panda knew that there could be a place inside of all of that, where people could get along, where people could be friendly, where new users(newbs not n00bs) could come along and not have their heads bitten off.
She created a safe haven for anyone who wasn't cruel, mean or bitter, to be warm and secure. Where people who only needed some attention, and affection, could come in and find an ear to listen and a hug to huggle them.
Panda was, and still is a wonderful person. Only, not here.
Panda came to an epiphany last May and decided to spend more time and effort on the items of her life. To give more focus to her education and more dedication to other things she cared about.
We love Panda very much, and we only wish her the very best in what she's doing, and what she does.------- If you knew Panda, post here about how you met her and what positive effects she had on you. =)

I don't remember when I met Panda, it was in the hug thread I know that and it was because of a friend of mine who left Gaia that I did end up meeting Panda.
I don't really think being on Gaia is the same now that I don't have Panda to talk to (I'm not saying that that's the only reason I come on Gaia and that everyone else is just there to talk to because I'm bored or anything sweatdrop ). But she was always nice to people and that's one of the many things I miss about her.

I met Panda...when she was questing. I happened across her thread, and it was strange since I wasn't really a visitor to the Questing forum at the time. I'm not even sure why I went into her thread.
But I ended up going in there, and just chatting with her. We became friends and maybe not even a day later, or a few days later, she created the Hug Thread.
She invited me to it and...I dunno. But she was a really good friend to me and she was very sweet.

I met panda with my old account rebelwithnoclueakasazzerz i remember coming across her thread and she gave me 500 g or so so i could get a jacket she said she liked my signature xd

I met Panda back in the old thread, she was very kind to me carrying on nice conversations and everything. She actually helped me meet some of the friends I now have on Gaia. 4laugh
