What do people think of problems like the Existence problem of Yang-Mills?

And what do you think of the general existence problems in QFT.
(i.e., the interaction picture doesn't exist and QFT contradicts itself.)

Sorry, I don't know what Yang-mills is or QFT. Is it possible you explain for me a little bit? If you have a good link I'd love to read up.

Well, here's a bad link (i.e. the official one) to the Yang-Mills problem, which contains a highly mathematical description of QFT:

I don't quite understand the entire thing, but I find it very interesting, and am hoping that we get some new mathematics out of it.
