This is just another hallway, complete with the occasional suit of armor or ugly statue and many, many moving paintings. It is made entirely out of a curious dark stone.

She tugged Blayre the rest of the way, not wanting to push Blayre too much but they had to hurry. "Come on, we're almost there!" She was only slightly damp now, but she wasn't so out of breath this time, and she had managed to keep track of the time, it had taken twenty minutes to get up there, she was hoping they didn't miss it.

Cal spotted the window she had mentioned and smiled, hurrying towards it and switching her grip on Blayre's wrist to grasp her hand as she came upon the window and pushed her towards it lightly.

"There, the sunset... since we're high so high up now we can see it over the trees..." She pointed towards the horizon, the sky was lit with gold and red rays, stretching out and becoming auburn and pink, the rest of the sky was a spectrum of color, displaying rich purples and dark blues. She looked at Blayre, her eyes shining with happiness as she squeezed the hand she had not let go of.

Blayre stood, stunned by the erruption of warm colors seeping through the slit of horizon as the sun slowly sank beneath the earth to it's daily grave. It reminded her of a book she had read once... No doubt, the moon lay close behind in following of the sun.

She smiled softly in memory of that book... The author certainly had a way with imagery.

So now she stood, right hand being held securely by the girl promises protection. Her left curled up into a softly clenched fist, her fore finger's knuckle placed just under her lower lip. The corners of her mouth quirked upward in an amazed smile, revealing the tiniest flash of straight, white, teeth. Behind the reflective surfaces of her glasses, the dark brown eyes seemed to light up with nature's natural fires.

Even inside, Bug watched in awe at the sunset. Not a single word left her.

Another smile... this one more beautiful then the last. Her breath caught as she looked, not at the sunset, but at the girl who's hand was in hers, the one who was silent and sweet and looked so adorable right now. She could just...

Kiss her.

Her eyes widened at the thought that popped into her head and she blushed, turning her head to face the horizon but keeping her eyes on the girl beside her.

No... she had just met this girl, there was no way she would forgive her if she did that. She gazed almost sadly out at the sky as the last of the rays dissapeared completely.

As the last traces of the sun died, Blayre turned to look up at the Greek girl who had brought them there. Her heart hammered in her chest, from the run up seven floors, from the breath-taking sunset, and the warm hand in hers.

She blushed and adjusted her glasses with her free hand. Her gaze was directed at the floor shyly, the smile still remaining.

"I..." She paused for a moment. "I had no idea that this floor had such a view."

Cal turned her head and looked at Blayre, smiling in response to the one that Blayre was still sporting. At least she could make her smile. A small bit of pride welled up in her at the thought.

"I... well... the idea just came to me... I used to come up her when I was homesick and watch the sunset... I figured... you might enjoy it..." She sighed softly and scratched her head, what else could they do tonight?

Bug squirmed in the mind. If it were up to her, she would have had locked lips by now and cozied up to the wall. She sighed mentally, dropping into a mental half-awareness. Bug couldn't help it; she was bored by now.

Blayre on the other hand, felt... Happy.

"I did... I really enjoyed that." Blayre looked down at their shadows, sighing softly. The smile slowly drifted back down to that of Blayre's neutral facial expression.

"I... Know something like this. We should be able to hear by now... If you want to?" She tilted her head slightly and looked up into cobalt blue eyes.

She nodded her head and smiled at Blayre, whose own smile was gone, but Cal was determined to see it again.

"I'd love to..." Love to kiss you.

Damnit! Stop that! She scolded herself mentally and shook her head. "I'd love to."

Blayre began walking back down towards the steps, gently guiding Calypso behind her. She didn't feel like running... There was no hurry at the moment. Besides, the poor blond had been running up and down them three times already today; no need for another jog.

"It's along the lake bed... I'll show you." Blayre spoke as reinforcement to both Calypso and herself. What they were going to do was a little dangerous, but nothing worse than a scratch or two.

((Meet you down by the lake! ^_^))

Cal took a deep breath and followed after her slowly, looking down at the ground.

"Lake bed huh..."
