I spent 2:00am to 2:30pm trying to have an out of body experience...from relaxing my body to hearing voices...I got far but I was unsuccessful...come to find out a few months ago when my head felt as if it were shaking violently and my body couldn't move,something my mom called "witch" or was also called " a witch riding your back" by my relatives,was a part of having an out of body experience...I always pulled myself out of it though because I was afraid and didn't know what it was...it was pretty creepy and it took a lot of effort to come out of,I even heard voices...anyway,now I want to have an OBE(out of body experience) and I wasted all last night....now I know what I have to do,I have to have a lack of sleep and go to sleep in my room at night,I'll already be a bit paranoid because when I sleep I hear what sounds like stirring in my room...I should be able to do it tonight...if not,I'll wake up angry.... stressed
Talk about: Out of Body Experiences Weird things happening to you in your sleep Wasted effort of practice on pshychic abilities and so on Being impatient for somwthing weird to happen..

i actually spent an hour last night trying to have one... i was pretty close. a lot of it, i figured out, is preparation. one thing you need to make sure to do is just not move at all. it's key, but difficult.
also, you should go through the major muscle groups (i.e. feet, legs, pelvis, abdomen, arms/shoulders, neck and face) and just making them sleep. what i did was i contracted, held, and released the muscles in those groups a few times, and while i was doing that i told whatever it was to go to sleep. it took a while for it to actually happen, but it was quite obvious to me when it did. felt like any numb limb, just everywhere.
at that point, i tried to shift my "awareness" (take your hand and hold it against your ear, and then slowly take it away. you can still feel it next to your head; this is one of the instances of your awareness). anyway, i tried to take control of it and shfit it away from my body, but not really just pushing it out. i got pretty close to having conscious control of it and getting past my eyeballs, but it just felt so damn weird i couldn't do it. in hindsight it might have been the music i had playing... but i couldn't turn it off because i knew i would have to move. gonk
yeah. i was close.

Yeah..I got pass the whole numb part..I even heard the low ringing in my ears and the voices..I didn't get pass that..I also didn't do the move my hand once its numb part...I tried to float out..it felt like I was about to but it didn't happen. -__-; My hands slowly began to move,I kept trying...I thought my eyes were opening while they were closed but then they started to really open they were twitching so much,I only got a peek....I tried so many times..I hope I get it right tonight. ^_^;

D.J._Skippy i keep falling asleep sweatdrop Me too! gonk ...Tonight,I'm sleeping at the head of my bed instead of the foot of it like I've been doing for a little while,I had the weird vibrations when I slept at the head of my bed on my back when I was really tired...I'm definitely the tired part..I only had 4 and a half hours of sleep. crying To be honest,I'm gonna try this evening before tonight..*shrugs*maybe it will work...

I guess I'm getting there step by step...^_^..last night, sweatdrop I didn't get too far....but this morning after I got up and ate breakfast because my mom forced me..lol......I went back and tried one last time...exactly what I thought would happen,happened...I allowed myself to start dreaming and in the middle of the dream...the words from my dream felt like they were being said aloud,I remembered how it was said....."Now you have to deal with The Coffin".....it felt as if it were said aloud and I opened my eyes...my ears rang and my head started vibrating..I closed my eyes and it calmed...it only lasted for a little while....I was so mad that it stopped..but at least I'm getting there slowly. -^_^- I woke up a little while ago...I think I'm gonna go try again,lol.

mm. i read something last night (though i can't remember the url right now...) that said it's easier to induce OBE right after waking up from a full-night's sleep. just wake up naturally (without an alarm) and don't do anything. don't move, nothing. if you don't do anything, then your body is still pretty close to sleeping, but your mind is awake. i'll get the site again and post it tonight. here it is: http://www.jonasridgeway.com

I've had a couple. Nothing too memorable; usually I'll just be laying in bed, then I'll be floating over my house looking down. Unfortunately, I'm TERRIFIED of heights, so I usually get a bad case of vertigo, then "fall" back into myself.

Thanks Dj,I think I'll check that out...I've actually tried to do that,but I move a lot in my sleep so it's pretty hard for me to focus on not moving my body when I wake up..I turn a lot. sweatdrop Anyway,I can't wait to check out the site. 3nodding

Wow....sound pretty sweet...well,unless you're afraid of heights....which you are... sweatdrop you get what I mean. xd ....besides I believe I won't get to explore if I ever do it again,it'll be my second time...it just feels weird to be floating in the air...I had to admit,it happened to me once,I was young,I just decided to cancel it out and say it was a dream,be a bit logic....I didn't know stuff like this could happen when it happened to me,I don't know what's been happening lately..I can't seem to focus...and for me it's one or the other,stay up and become tired and sleep to OBE or get good rest so I can remember my preminitions I have every so often,I want both but.....I doubt that's possible @_@;...
