While browsing around, we all probably find pictures that remind us of our character (or others.) I'd be interested in seeing some of yours (specifically, photos of Japanese "would be cosplayers", if you find any!)

I was browsing around and found some pics of a Japanese model who reminds me of Sofie. I imagine that if there was some sort of Japanese live musical of OA (like the Takarazuka ones of Sailor Moon and Utena) Sofie's actress would end up looking like this. Maybe with les of a babydoll prostitute look about her, not to mention a vacant, blind, blue-eyed stare. rolleyes

Random discovers - that’s for sure. Though there's an Adelaide at my school and I saw Charlie's Mom on the subway the other day lmao. But for Dorian? Hmm... Well... I was flipping through channels a couple of weeks ago looking for movies, when I came across the movie "The sisterhood of traveling pants." Now I had no intention of watching it (and didn't finish watching it) but the scene I cut to was of this grumpy girl labeling feminine hygiene products.

Was it Dorian!? A little... sort of... maybe like, a bad cosplay of her - but the expression is dead on. Especially if she was working part-time and her job was to label the prices on feminine hygiene products. Turns out this character (Tibby? I think, how the hell would I know) is some cynical rebel and nascent filmmaker. Sounds a lot like Dorian, just change 'filmmaker' to 'actress.' The actress (Tamblyn) herself doesn't look a whole lot like Dorian, just the character she plays in this movie.

But like Yamino mentioned, this Dorian lookalike is a little too babyfaced to pull off our real Dorian in OA.

I seriously need to sneak a shot of the 'Adelaide' at my school. She in grade 9... so shes like.. 14 or 15. Looks EXACTLY like a real life Adelaide.

I've even asked her if I could call her Adelaide (she said yes) so thats like... how I call her in the hallway. I cant even remember her Real name.. OMFG MY YEAR BOOK, I'LL SCAN IT! rofl
