((The four walls of Luana's room are each different, almost as if they don't belong to the same building. One wall is painted so it can be used as a black board; one is a collage of photographs, posters, blueprints, and award certificates; the third is painted violet; and the one with the exterior window is exposed brick. Her bed is a mattress covered in pillows and blankets, and never looks made no matter how hard she tries. There are papers and books scattered and stacked all over the place, with no sign of being organized to the casual observer. Against the violet wall there is a desk with an iMac G5 on it, above which hangs a cracked wooden crucifix.))

((Outside of the room is a hallway where three of the other seven bedrooms are located. Elsewhere in the house can be found a dining room, a private library, a kitchen that many restaurants would envy, a gym in the basement, and a section of the house that is known as The Tower. Usually closed off from even other family members, it is a private workspace and sanctuary for Luana and her grandfather. The house is enormous with seemingly a room for any purpose.))

((The rest of the property contains a garden, a greenhouse, a 5 car garage, a tiled patio with tables and chairs for outdoor parties, part of what remains of a forest (predominantly Oak trees), and a lake with an island in the middle which is shared by the families of the five properties surrounding it. In one of the largest trees contains a tree fort that has been modified and improved by each of the McColn children at some point.))

:::Kal appears along side her. He doesn't have time to think about what his new surroundings might look like before he's utterly submerged in them. His eyes go wide, and his head darts back and forth. He spins in a full circle trying to understand what he's seeing. He looks at everything again and again, but his gaze stops when he spots a window...:::

:::His thoughts are still as he wonders what he'll see when he looks through it, he's so excited that he hesitates, and looks back down at Luana. Seeing her made it twice as real...the connection between nowhere and somewhere:::

:::He decided that he didn't want to see the world from a restrained position:::

After a moment he caught his breath...can we...go outside?

:::Kal takes her lead, and procedes to the hall. He reaches her and waits for her to lead the way:::

:::He watches closely as she slides down the banister, and realizes that she's waiting for him to join her. He shrugs his shoulders:::

When in rome...

:::He too gets onto the banister, and as carefully and slowly as possible, slides himself down it:::

:::He reaches her a few moments later:::

woo...well, that was..hehe. Gotta practice that.

:::Clears his through and runs his hands through his hair to steady himself after the death-defying banister slide of doom:::

:::abscent mindedly::: Jake..? :::He was busy thinking about what was outside:::

:::His eyes were focused on the door, and he took a deep breathe:::

Mm hm. :::He nodded:::

:::he steps toward her, and as he moves forward, he waits for the moment when the glare passes and where he's able to finally see what's there.

:::As he steps passed Luana, the sun seemed to redirect its light to spread evenly over the earth. Revealed in the glow was a great yard with green grass. Ahead of the was a giant patio, and behind that was a small forest...though much grander than anything K had ever seen. The light reflected off the wings of little creatures buzzing lightly around the breeze. To his right the yard continued as did the forest, and to the left was a lake...water... there were birds floating on it in pairs, and there were great willows at its edges:::

:::His lips parted and his breathe escaped. Tears began to stream down his face, and all words were lost to him. He just stared in disbeliefe. His dreams were right there in front of him somehow:::
