Alright,I'll make mines first. But I have use this thread for now.
Laharl and his followers. (The slowest yet safest build)
This is my first army set-up. It isn't that good for the impaitient and for Johenium,it will be annoying to play but bare with me. This is a set-up where you transmigrate Laharl to a genuis once you get to level 50-110. You go to the Blair Forest and fight against the dragon that replaces Sardia afterwords with Laharl's equipment after getting the Triple EXP allowence passed. This isn't recommended for mages and skulls because their low hp. -------------------------- Death is your friend
The Hospital likes to give royal gifts to those who feel pain every other minute so don't be scared to die unless its by your own sword. ----------------------------- You and Transmigration
This is the imfamous feature of Disgaea that lets you modify your characters to top-form when they lack the potential of your newer members.
Main Characters-Let them be for a while becuase for every 50 levels, you get a extra bonus point to spend no matter which if you turn them into "good-for nothings" or genuises.
Early followers-Good-for-nothings will be your majority of followers for 4 chapters unless you use the item world to its full potential. This can be avoided by doing the above or spamming "the level 1 with Rank 9 or less armor" route.
Late followers-Like most RPGs,this is where it gets slow. Monsters are not the best to use "quick ticket to glory" anymore IMO and Majins are quite approved. You'll use the item world more even if you manage to sneak in a bonus stage because without a well-rounded party, you'll either be affected by alot of status ailments or killed in three turns. ------------------------- Should I use the main characters? Except Laharl's over-powered self for easy leveling, you don't need to use them for most of the game.
Where are the bonus characters? They're usually the last boss in a bonus stage so no worries. -------------------------- Ally Kills?!
These mean that you've killed your own men/women by your blade/gun/spear/arrow/magic/axe/special move. Its only means by your own power. Not prinny explosions, not clones, not geo planes effects, being on top of a geo plane when its cleared,or self-suicide moves like Arigato Roboto. -------------------------- How do I get different endings?
1.Best good ending(Beating the game)-No ally kills without fufilling the other ending requirments.
2.Normal "teh suck" ending(Beating the game)-Get a ally kill without clearing the other endings requirments.
3.Earth ending-Beat the Earth stage
4.Item Ending-Beat the Item God
5.Dark Ending-Kill alot of the Sena-I mean Dark Congress (100 won cases by force)
6.Flonne Ending-Kill 50 allies before beating "Lavish Hall" and select kill.
7.Etna Ending-Kill 100 allies before beating "Ice Queen" and do the same as Flonne's.
8.Mid-Boss Ending-Get killed by Mid-Boss without quitting,seriouslly. ---------------------
I'm currentlly looking for the manga that tells the events that leads to Disgaea 2. PM me or just post in the thread.

Hidden Classes and the requirements-
Angel- Level 100 Archer/Cleric/Knight all Female.
Recruit- Level 30 gun mastery with any character (TAKES A LONG TIME!!)
Majin- Level 200 Brawler/Warrior/Ninja/Scout/Rogue all Male.
Note: Majins are hella strong. They have S class for all weapons and their Aptitude is 120%, which makes them ridiculously powerful.
Power leveling tips-
The first level of Salamander's Breath is a great one for power leveling. The entire board is EXP+100% and there are like, 14 Zombies that you can throw together. You get around a level 250 or so, but with the board and the triple exp bonus it's actually worth around Level 1000 experience.
Also, it's a snow level but I forgot the name. It's ALL invincibility except one square, and has a bunch of catgirls and succubi. Throw them all into one and try to make sure that the final form is a succubi (I'll explain why in a second) Then, throw that high level monster onto the one panel that isn't invincible and pummel on her until her health is critical. Then combo attack with your lower level characters. The reason why you want her to be a succubi is because as a Catgirl she may be able to delta kick you away from her and escape...making it a little more annoying to kill her.
Cave of Ordeal Level 3- This is THE level for power leveling until around level 2500. The monsters are put in a 3X3 formation that perfect for Winged Slayer. If Laharl is still pretty weak at this point, braveheart him with all of your casters and winged slayer the group, he will level up blazingly fast. Mix Triple Experience into the picture and Soon he's gaining 10 levels per trip. That goes down to about 2 or 3 levels per trip, but that's great considering how much EXP one needs as the levels get higher.
Senate Trick-
Here's a surefire way to get your requests approved EVERY time. Actually, there's two methods
1) - Search the senate for the highest level senator. Preferrably near the front. Then, charm him with items until he/she has 'Total Support' or 'Love' for you.
- Let the vote begin, and no matter the result, as long as said senator voted "Yea", begin the battle.
- Always end your first turn. None of the monsters can ever get to you and attack you on the first turn, so just leave Laharl on the start panel and let them come to you.
-Then, use that charmed senator as a 'grenade' of sorts. Lift them and throw them onto your enemies, highest levels first. They will 'squish' the enemy and absorb their levels. So, you bribed a level 200 senator, threw it onto a level 199, now it's a level 399 and still in favor for you.
NOTE- Be VERY careful...if the senator gets hit by ANY attacks by your party or any of your enemies, they will turn against you. Trust me, after throwing a bunch of senators together, you don't want an angry level 1200 senator.
Once you've thrown all opposing senators into your uber level supporting senator, you win! (You can also win by using a combination of mid level senators, throwing them together and then using that more powerful senator as your grenade...experiment and you'll discover your own variation)
2) Here's another way, and in many ways its a bit easier. Have your lower level characters get ranked around 3 or 4...and then when you submit for things like Triple Exp or Stronger enemies, the senators that show up are relative to the initiating character. Therefore, if you submit the proposal with a level 20 Warrior, the senators will be roughly around that area. Imagine the delight when that happens and they deny your level 20, you begin the battle and swap out for your level 200/300/700 Laharl. At this point the entire senate can most likely be killed with Laharl alone and he will rarely take any damage. Use this for things like Improving Characters Counterattack/Movement, stronger enemies and Triple Exp. For things like Alternate Netherworld and Mysterious Seal, the bout will always be difficult because if you have that much influence the senators are going to be levels 200-600 or more anyways.
I'll put up more of my info later. This coming from a guy who had a level 12,000 Laharl and a few 8,000's. lol.

Seriously! I can't WAIT to see Disgaea 3 dubbed! And then I'd get to see the original jap version (hopefully with loyal subs) on youtube! Oh god, Disgaea is love.
Too bad, though. It doesn't look like Laharl-sama will be there. It's like DIsgaea 2 was so the transition of no Laharl wouldn't be so devastating.
The new kid is cute. But it looks like posers of the original cast. He has a cape. What's the story?
