It's not one of my favourite Disney films but I love the ending. It's one of the few I used to watch all the way through, generally once the singing ended that's be it! Ont to the next one. smile

I just pray Beast doesn't become a "Charming".
I mean, Snow White and Cinderella are both married to the same guy...I kinda wonder now if Disney secretly encouraged polygamy. blaugh

snow white and cinderella married to the same guy? that would be rather strange. but as we all know, the name "prince charming" is a term used for all prince characters in fairy tales. i assume snow white and cinderella married different princes razz
*a bit off topic* i know it isn't about disney, but i'd just like to share something in connection to Chibidrow's comment. there's this book called "legally correct bedtime stories"... and it contains court proceedings of trials between fairy tale characters. for instance, prince charming was convicted of polygamy and of seducing so many women. blaugh

My comment came from a really old "Mother Goose and Grim" comic where Snow White and Cinderella meet for the first time. They both have identical son's and they find out that they both married a 'Prince Charming'

I also have it on VHS, and it's one of my favorite Disney movies. I love the songs, and the clothes. I wonder who designs all those princess clothing, I just love all of them! heart Anyway, moving on... smile My favorite character in this one is probably Lumière, he's just so funny. And my favorite scene...I think the one where Gaston is trying to get Belle to marry him. That one's just so funny.

Belle - (runs up to the castle and sees the beast fighting gaston and yells) "Beast!" They actually mention that on the creator's commentary on the DVD, how they reached that point in the film and realized that he didn't have a name! But they figured it wouldn't really matter, since you would be so caught up in the moment the first time that you wouldn't really care whee

I've watched the commentary quite a few times. :during the Gaston song: "Ready ready... Look at the bear rug. It moves slowly closer to the fire each time. Ready.. Look! It crawled under the chair.. (camera angle changes then goes back) Oh look! Now the chair and the rug are gone! Yup, the bear came to life, picked up the chair, and threw himself and the chair in the fireplace all while you couldn't see it."
