Well if the one episode of english Naruto I saw a little while ago can tell me anything other then I hate Naruto's english voice, they've already started the chuunin exams ark but have yet to get the the arena matches. SO for those of us who have seen the japanese version, Which chuunin fight did you like the best in the first round? Second round?

I meant it about the spoilers, if you haven't seen this plot yet I suggest turning back now before I ruin it for you...ok, you've had your chance.
Personally, I liked the Temari-Tenten match because of how quickly and precisely Temari dealt with Tenten. I dunno though, it's a pretty even tie with the Shikamaru-Kin match, considering how clever we all know Shika-kun can be. Obviously, this leads to my favourite of the second round, the overly strategic Shikamaru-Temari match. The unbelievably complicated calculating that goes on in this match, not to mention the sheer genius of both participants. Shikamaru was obviously going to be the winner. Temari had a big ego to work with and completely underestimated our poor shadow ninja to beyond the point of no return. Ah, well I'd love to say she got what she deserved by getting completely owned in the match but she won by forefit. I'll be honest though, if Shikamaru hadn't given up it would have been awfly OOC

Uhh... I loved both, but it was sad in the first round that Lee got the crap beat outta him. But I loved the 2nd round, although we didn't get to see Gaara beat the crap outta Sasuke crying *no offense Sasuke fans* I did like Shikamaru's first fight, well planned out, but I would have to go with Shikamaru vs. Temari. Because we learned how smart Shikamaru really is. 3nodding

Yeah, I think I'd have liked the Lee-Gaara fight better if Lee hadn't had his arm, leg and spirit broken :Sweat: It was an awesome fight, no question, but I'm more inclined to watch the clever ones rather then the raw powerful ones.

For the first round...I liked Lee and Gaara's fight.
Second round, Naruto and Neji.

My favorite fight hands down was the Gaara Lee fight. OMG. That was awesome. It showed us really how persistant Lee was and gave me a great respect for him in the series, plus it showed us for the first time that Gaara does have weaknesses. Both of them really gave their best on that fight and I loved every minute of it.

True, I was a tad upset with Shikamaru-kun for giving up too but think about it. If he hadn't it would have been totaly un-shika-like. Think back to the epidoe right before the 2nd round of matches began, his own FATHER was shocked he was even participating.

For the 1st round the Lee vs Gaara fight was definately best for the second round. I think my favorite had to be the Shikamaru and Temari round just because shika is my favorite and because I liked wacthing him strategically plan out attacks. Yeah I've seen a couple of posts in here I was pretty angry that Shikamaru gave up also but he was at his limit of how much chakra he had left and used up but he was such a good planner he's the only one to get promoted to a chuunin, which rocks.

yeah, but even if he was almost out of chakra, he said that he had already thought out over 200 ways in which he could have beaten her, however, they were all far too troublesome.
