Hmmm, I was looking through some of the threads, and I've noticed quite a few Art trades be mentioned. Do people think that this warrants a thread for it?

King Neb the 2nd Hmmm, I was looking through some of the threads, and I've noticed quite a few Art trades be mentioned. Do people think that this warrants a thread for it? Hm, I would say no. Since it's more likely for that person who wants to trade to get in contact with the artist in their own thread. Cause that'll be one of the first places they'll read. But still good idea.

What do you guys think if I take the names off the pictures in the Artist Directory and just posted the pictures? I think it would look better...

MWashu What do you guys think if I take the names off the pictures in the Artist Directory and just posted the pictures? I think it would look better... Yeah, the names make it look a bit ugly. However, the newbies won't know who the artists are. I was thinking about having their names pop up whenever someone runs their mouse over each picture. That way, the post will look purty and the newbies will know the name of the artist they go to!

Another idea for the artist directory pictures...
Have an extra symbol showing that the artist has a store on Gaia. Let me explain.
Some people might come into the guild or the thread looking for art, but would feel guilty about recieving it for free (or they might simply not be newbies). It would be much easier for them to compare artists who have stores and set prices from the start rather than trying to go through all the artists to find the aforementioned stores and prices.
On an unrelated note, I seem to be the only artist whose picture doesn't link to their thread sweatdrop

This isn't a suggestion, but I haven't seen a question thread sooo... I'm posting here.
Anyway, I'm unable to edit the first post in my artist thread. ONLY my first post. I can edit everywhere else on gaia, i've checked. Did someone set something that made it do this or does someone know how to fix this problem?

Yeah, I could probably change the BB code to HTML and put a little alt thingy there for the mouse-over name pop-up do-hicky. If anyone knows an easier way, let's hear it, but alt isn't that hard.
I'll try and fix your thread / picture link soon, Articubone. I don't know why it's not linked. sweatdrop
Oh yeah, and what sort of symbol should be there to show they have a shop? I could probably put something in one of the lower corners, maybe just shrink the shop button or something. Or make a tiny pixel shop? I dunno, it's open for suggestions.
rionastar, I don't know why it won't let you do that. Try PMing one of the other Mods and see if they can't tinker with it a bit. (I would, but I'm kinda busy right now with RL stuff. sweatdrop )
Which brings about another question: Should I make a questions thread for people like Riona who have problems? If so , should it be stickied?

Yes, I think a stickied Q&A thread would be great! I could help run it...it would give me something to do for the guild! 3nodding
Edit: After reading Jakobo's sticky in Q&F, I found out that the reason why Riona isn't able to edit her first post IS because of the poll. It seems to only be happening in guilds though.

One thing I would suggest is making the Newbie List a sticky. This way artists don't have to look up and down the guild to find it and see who's a newbie.
