What I require each artist to do is post once in this thread, and once only stating that they're active. And each week, edit that post with that days date to signify that you're still active. This prevents newbies from waiting for a possible picture to be drawn by an artist only to realize that he or she is currently inactive, or if the artist has to leave and forgets to tell us (It does happen sweatdrop ). The posts should look a little like this:
King Neb active - 16th October '04
And each week, I'll update that to the current date then (20th, 27th, etc...)
If an artist keeps their active status by telling us,, then I'll place them as active in the below list 3nodding
