Okay, so it was my birthday last monday, but I've only gotten a prezzie from my little brother, and other than that, nobody even came over to see me for my birthday. Not even my dad could be bothered to come over last monday.
People were invited to come celebrate my birthday for today, but since everybody had other things to do, and only my best friend could come over (but is ill, so she isn't here) I'd say this is my crappies supposedtobebirthdayparty.
How about yours?
Enlighten me, I might feel less crappy about it.

Wanna feel better about your birthday Denn? Rly?
Ok.
My birthday is on Christmas Eve.
That is the day we get our pressies here in Norway, we open them right after we had the dinner.
So my usual birthday goes something like.
-Wake up
-Get clean/dressed
-Have a very small breakfast [cuz my family is on that "if you don't eat we're gonna kill you" phase]
-Get pressies
-Eat cake
-Get mum/dad [depends who I'm with atm] to call me and say happy birthday
-Go to a room with a tv and stay there 'till dinner is ready
-Eat dinner
-More pressies
-Go to bed
.. Well atleast it should be like that. Only on my 17'th and 18'th birthday, I was working. -_-;;
I wouldn't really mind working on my birthday if it wasn't THAT day! I mean .. it's a family holiday! But noooo! We need to keep the bookstore open! -lesigh-
So my 19'th birthday, I actually got Christmas Eve off. [I wasn't really supposed to, but I whined my way into it]
My dad came to Oslo, and we spent the holidays in my apartment.
*I* can barely live in my apartment. How the HELL do you figure we could make *3* people stay there. -lesigh- Needless to say, it was hot, loud and terrible.
Then *I* had to make Christmas Dinner. My dad was on the phone the whole night, and my brother, as social as ever, was in my apartment playing on his computer, his Nintendo DS or his GameCube.
[Oh yeah - we borrowed my uncles place for a few hours just to have a wee bit more space for the actual day, as he and his wife & 2 sons were at his wifes parents]
I haven't celebrated my real birthday with my friends since I was a kid.

I had a giant uni exam on my 18th this year. But then again, the Socceroos won their first ever World Cup game the night before so everyone was in high spirits for my birthday xD And even though it had nothing to do with me, it was still nice. Went out to dinner with my parents and the food made me sick o.O Had a good day though, regardless.
But. I'm now officially 18 which means I can pretty much do ANYTHING but I *can't* because I haven't got my proof of age card because the stupid whores said my birth certificate wasn't valid o.O WTF. So I haven't been anywhere and my friends celebrated without me =D
My birthday was good though so I'm certainly not complaining. I say we all get together to make up for all the crap birthdays we've all ever had xD

My worst birthday was two years ago, I think... well.. two and a half. I had the week off, 'cause I was going to go visit some friends out of state, but.. wasn't able to do that. All because my mom broke both her ankles the week before. gonk So I had to stay home all week, and play nursemaid for mom. Was on here for most of the day, hours at a time, all week. gonk
Last birthday.. I think I had to work, and we couldn't go to the restaurant I wanted to go... but the replacement was pretty good, and before that we were at the Lord of the Rings exhibit, so.. it was good.
