i mean seriously. i alwaiiz thought he/she was a GUY. but some people think otherwise...
maybe in the manga series he/she's a girl i'm not sure...(i have only read a few volumes of the manga).

Aki-chan is a woman. She was raised as a man by her mother Ren.
She would've also been revealed to be female in the anime had they had more volumes to work with and not assumed she was male.

akito actually turns out to be female which they reveal later on in the manga

akito is a women, but only a few of the juunshi know that. her mother, ren, believed it was not right for a women to be god, so she raised her as a male.

True, Akito is a woman in the manga, but it's never revealed in the anime. Actually, the anime and manga are so different, I think of them seperately- so in my mind Akito is a woman in the manga but a man in the anime.

They're really not that different. Akito and Shigure are the only big differences.

which manga volume do they reveal he's a girl? i'm only up to vol.14 so...

You find out in vol 17 second chapter in. Though there's hints as early as vol 12 with splash pages. Like in the group splash only the females have blushed lips and Akito is included.
