In the game itself, they look rather similar but after a while you get this chance to go to the Holy Ground one place with Aura's statue chained and you can see little scenes of the characters. So of course they are different but which do you like better?
Mimiru to me seems inquisitive and kind of friendly.
Black Rose....well if you give some other party member an item she asks if you are giving her anything. She also expects you to be there with her....Of course that is expected as Kite and her seem to be the main charas throughout the game

I like both. Black rose is kinda nice, but kinda mean, her personality is kool. Mimiru is nice, she's curious and not annoying. In the game blackrose annoys me with the stuff she says. other than that I think they tie.

Yes! Black Rose drives me crazy sometimes! But she's alright......I half the time wonder because in the third game she emails my character asking about boyfriends and girlfriends and that kind of stuff....

But she's alright......I half the time wonder because in the third game she emails my character asking about boyfriends and girlfriends and that kind of stuff.... yeah, ^_^ in the fourth Balmung sends you an e-mail like that. It's kinda funny because it made me think of those two as a couple. I laughed really hard for a while. ^_^

If Balmung asked me out, there would be no waiting! He's sooo good looking! nice. ^_^ That's what a lot of my friends would say. I haven't really fallen for any chars in .Hack actually... I do like the way Sora plays with pking though.. that's kinda cool. I like kite's personality and just the way he is, Tsukasa isn't strong but he/she's very thoughtfu; and I think rather smart. Crim is cool cuz he is... I don't like the silver knoight at all. Such a jerk. Balmungs kinda to tightly wound for me.

I luff Sora as well!! I didn't atcually like Balmung till I played the .Hack games. I remember reading somewhere bout Sora eventually getting data drained or something like that. Then in the game there is a dungeon with a twin blade on the red cross thing. Is it Sora? I have a feeling it is but I don't think you can make him give you his member address.. crying
Ahhh scary! Balmung! Save me from the awful storms!
Oh! And Wiseman kind of scares me. He makes me think of him as an....erm....well I can't think of the word....but every time I invite him into the party I think he's going to rape me! His words are just sooo provocative.... confused

psh...they are nothing even close to similar other then picking the same type of character model (and that doesnt say much when in a mmorpg like The World)
I choose Black Rose over Mimiru any day, since first off BlackRose actually has a struggle in her past that really affects how she acts and deals with her problems both online and offline.
She also is a great ally for Kite, I mean... even after infection you could really tell how well she faught along side Kite.
I mean...dont get me wrong, Mimiru isnt bad... but she fails to compare to how epic BlackRose as a character is.

I'd choose black rose over Mimiru any day! Mainly just because I've had her in my party any chance that I could throughout the first 2 games...and she's gonna be in my party for the rest of the 3rd(when she's available) and 4th!

I needc to see the last dvd, my friend has it and I watched all of the dvds except the last one. You rescue sora in the game and get his blades.. very useful, they have death on them.I'm lvl 92 and I still use them occasionally but they make my attack go down good bit. Supposedly at the end of the fourth you can get tsuakasa and everybody else. I'm only about halfway through the fourth one though so I couldn't tell ya if it's true or not. I need virus cores and don't feel like getting them. lol. I can't stand Nuke... he just annoys me.

I am extremely unsure... Mostly because I have yet to actually know who BlackRose really is! stressed I've only seen her in the Sign episode with the party thingie... and if Gi-fu-to... (GIFT) And in those... honestly, she and Mimiru seem exactly alike... whee So I have no idea....
But after reading this thread... I still don't know... -.-
