Just out of curiosity, what is your favorite Final Fantasy monster?
The poll up top refers to monsters that have been in Final Fantasy for multiple games. I'm excluding any monsters that may appear a lot in other games that aren't FF (ie. Dragons, Goblins, Ghosts, etc.)
Also, I've only played Fantasies II(JP IV), VII, VIII, X, X-2, and XI so I may miss some monsters in the poll, and for any I forget that I should have remembered, just let me know as I am doing this from the top of my head. (not that I can change the poll that I know of)
But poll aside, posts I'm asking favorite monster period, no exclusions.
My favorite monster would probably be the Ruby Dragon of FFVIII, just because of their unique and beautiful design. I hate fighting them both because they can kill my party at Max Total HP in one strike, and that they are so beautiful.

My favorite monster, not sure if it would count as a monster or not, but My favorite would have to be the Ragtimer from Final Fantasy IX, because he showed up when I least expected him, he was such a flippin smartass when you got a question wrong, and you could never really attack him... He had it goin' on Ha!

..... Malboros, Cactaurs, and Tonberries... the bane of my existance.... Malboros and Tonberries are evil incarnate and Cactaurs are too fast to kill half the time.... And getting Quina to eat one is hard work.
Incidently anyone else think that the Malboro's Bad Breath attack have anything to do with Marlboro ciggarettes? I think of that every time I see an ad for those cancer sticks.

It ticks my sister who doesn't play final fantasy off, my sister who does thinks it's funny.

My all-time favorite is Cactuar. I dunno why, mabe because of its weird jerking movements.. Simply cute. blaugh

I like Cactuars because they're just so cute! Not to mention they're really helpful when they're on your side. 1000 needles doing 9999 damage!

I like it when 1,000 needles does 10,000 damage ^_^ Which is why we use Mr. Cactaur ALOT so he eventually does.

ninja I like Vlakorados. Just 'cause of the name. They're really annoying and have like, a bagillion HP and only do like, 100 damage...but the name sounds awesome! Vlakorados... it just rolls off your tongue. heart
