Really, is there really any comparison? They use the same avatar, but they are very different on many levels.
I'm just going to say I prefer Kite. After all, if it weren't for him, there would be no Shugo in The World (that, or Shugo would play a very different character).

kita ll the way. Shugo annoys me .... he's kinda perverted, and he whines a lot. Besides that he just dosen't keep my attention and he needs his own costume. Kite is soooo much cooler than he is.

Kite hands down, he seems much more powerful than shugo could ever be, and as you've said, he's just a copy of kite.

I go with Kite as well. I would've gone with Shugo because of his first attempt at a monster and talking to that gay character, but Kite's Data Drain looks cool.

Kite definitly. First off, he knows the struggles it takes to be a hero, as well as the hardships and the greif. And what does Shugo learn?... how to be a bigger newb then ever =_= I mean sure he lost rena... but Kite lost Orca and... spoiler He also lost everyone else in his greatest fight against Corebink...along with him dealing the final blow on Aura to defeat Morganna... he's felt Shugo's pain atleast 100x over, and yet he was still able to push on.

Kite is diffinetly better, no way will shugo ever be as strong as Kite was/is.
