Around the world, many nations are starving to death. In the U.S., we are eating ourselves to death. Something wrong with this picture? At least 45% of the general U.S. population is classified obese or morbidly obese. How would you react to our general population being fat?
I know it is wrong for us to become fat and kill ourselves from eating and other nations are starving. What would you do to help save the fat people of America?

its hard to say if theres any real solution to this. we cant just tell ppl to stop eating so much. if we eat less would that make the ppl in these 3rd world countries less hungry? probably not. if we really want to do our part its going to take more than just eating less. we can do things like sponsor a family in africa for like $20/month. honestly that really isnt that much money and the things that they'll be able to do with that money is alot more than most ppl might think. as far as saving the fat ppl of america goes i think all we can do is better educate the public about obesity and provide ways to eat healthier that are appealing. changing eating habits is a much more difficult task than ppl might think.

You'd think that we would help other nations out, but since most Americans are greedy pigs, no pun intended, we are uptight and do not really want to meddle on other worldy affairs such as starvation. If we did give some of the food here to needy nations like Africa, we wouldn't be the most hated nation in the world.

Somalia, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq. Mainly alot of 3rd World Nations don't like us at all. From the U.S. standpoint, North Korea is the most hated nation.
Anyways, back on the obesity issue.

But the fattest person in the world is not even from the U.S XD. No but seriously this is something that cannot be stopped that easily. America has the money and they take full advantage of that. We do help third world countries alot. Maybe not to the fullest but we do. Since when is America the most hatted nation? I thought those were the communist nations.

Aside from the hated nations, that is true. Obesity is a huge issue and can't be solved. It's improbable. You can't tell every person in America to give their food to other countries. Most will not care about other people's problems. That is what makes Americans greedy.

Most people in the United States are overweight, but I can handle it to a certain point. When you become to lazy that you dont even walk across teh room, etc, it is just horrid. yes I know that there are mental states of mind that can send poeple for a weird trip but they need self control. I think we need to send some of the food we have to the other countries for gas! CHEAPER GAS!

People just don't have that self-control anymore. I agree, Shiama. I know humans are greedy in general. And also, it's not just self-control, it's also dedication. These people have to dedicate at least some time to their schedule to exercise in order to lose weight.
People overindulge on the sweets too much. That's what makes most Americans fat. If we could give them food for gas, we could. But the Middle East countries want money mainly, as well as food.

i havent gone trick or treating in years. Yes I support halloween and scare children (gosh I am evil) but either way. If people would just get off their lazy a**..but then there are some people that cant loose weight. My mother, who btw is in no way fat just a little pudge(as she puts it but she thinks she is fat), she cant get rid of cause of scars she had their. Still that is not the main problem in this country. we have too many fast food restraunts.

Yes. Damn you, McDonalds! scream There are mental disorders where people who are skinny think they are fat. And people who fat think they're skinny. The skinny lose weight and become anorexic and the fat people get fatter.
So I will agree with Shiama. The fast food restaurant chain is inevitable. We can't control it. Only the government could, but they're making money off of them and why stop when you're recieving lots of money. Isn't it amazing how society has changed over the 20th century? Look back in the 1900's, 1940's, 1960-80's, and today. Time and society has really changed since then.
