Divination is a fairly easy concept, though the signs aren't always easy to read. To perform divination, let some water boil and pour it into a mug, preferably a large one. Take some stray tea leaves or a tea bag and cut it open, then spoon out enough of the leaves to make a small pile on the tip of a teaspoon. Dump the leaves in the water, not in it, then sit for a few minutes while they settle.
It is good to think about something while you do this - a specific question about the future, like if you will have romance with a certain person or if money will come along from a job offer. When the leaves are settled or move very little, take a look at them from different angles and try to make out what shape it is.
Typical shapes are:
-Crescent moon
-Lilly (Water lilly)
-The shape of a butterfly wing (often coming off the side with a handle)
-A large, thick cluster of leaves on one specific side and a few stray ones otherwise
-Tree
I will post pictures of what it would look like if you had each one of these shapes so you can get a general idea, but remember that not all of them will be exactly that shape and they can sometimes be hard to identify.
