For this month's contest, you have to do three things. It's simple enough for some people, but of course, for others, you may not be as good. Don't worry if you can't pixel (I can't, either!), it's not mandatory to participate.

Firstly, you must make a headsprite of a character. You can make it as complex or as simple as you'd like. Secondly, you must make a battle sprite for the character. It does NOT have to be animated, but that is a plus. A single-frame sprite of your character is all we ask for, just remember to colourize it to fit the character you made. Thirdly, you must, essentially, "create" the character. Give them a name, an age, etc. We don't need a full out profile, but just the basics are required.

Entries are due by July 25th, 2006 and voting will begin on the 26th. Please post all three of your entries on the same post, preferrably at the same time (or you can edit it later). You may only enter once. All members, crew and captains also, may participate, as the winner(s) will be determined by a vote.

Feel free to notify us of any issues or questions you may have regarding the contest.

** NOTE ** The sprite MAY NOT be one used at the board as an RP character (though it can be used after the contest is judged). This must be a new sprite. If we find people disobeying this, future contests will be changed to be more strict.

Also remember as this is our first contest, all issues will be worked out for future ones, so it is a more enjoyable experience for all of our members.

Okay, due to Technical difficulties, My Sprite jumpes around, if i had mroe time, i'd fix that, but i have had no time to work on my sprite, and this is my first Completely mine Animation, if i wanted one that didn't jump, i might've gone to barsona.

Special things: He's mute, and has a passion for Sketching, he's considered a child prodigy, even though he can't speak. being mute, he was abandoned at the local monastary, where he grew to love the monks there, and become one himself, Surprisingly, he took an oath of silence...
Non-special things: He is deathly afraid of shaprthings, thus, his hair is unkempt and unruly, due to sharp things being explo-tered by magic.

Name: Marabelle (prefers Mara)
Age: 16
Class: Troubadour --> Valkyrie
Background: Mara was raised around royalty, as her parents both worked in the palace in Bern. Her mother is healer to the residents of Bern's palace, and her father is a loyal knight. She inherited her staff skills from her mother and her father taught her to ride from an early age. Though she was raised by loving parents, Mara is very reserved as there were no other children around when she was growing up.

Voting begins on my birthday. Yay! Oh, and my first non-wobbly animation. Exciting, no?

Class: Wind Genasi -> Wind
Report: Nelaria speaks in strangely airy, wispy tones, retaining a lot of emotion in her voice alone. She is bright, optimistic, and has an overall sunny disposition. Her tousled, messy hair somehow manages to look graceful enough, adding to her belief in staying the way nature intended you to be. She doesn't much care about appearance (as is the case with most Genasi), and allows her robe to become frayed and tattered around the edges. Caring enough about appearance to at least look presentable in some form of company, she does bathe, wash her robe, and occasionally combs her hair. When speaking to Nelaria, many are unnerved by her eyes; completely white with no pupil or iris of any sort. She can see as well as anyone else, but it is her race that causes her bizarre appearance.. When Nelaria walks, she seems to float along, although her feet are firmly planted on the ground.
There is much intolerance of strange races like the Genasi, and as a result, they have retreated to the far corners of the world, staying in places that accept them. Genasi are highly valued as magical beings, and are much studied and respected by mages and the like. It has always been Nelaria's goal to see a united world free of racism and hate, and so she sets out from her home country, leaving her family to thier tacticial positions in the military there. Nelaria carries with her a lesson of acceptance, teaching others she meets the values of harmony between all races, religions, and ranks.

Personality: Calm and easy going, he doesn't miss a beat even though he almost always looks like hes not paying attention.
Class: Apothecary > Alchemist
Weapon: Elucid(prof.), Transmute
Bio: A boy who delves into ancient arts believed to come before all other magic. He has studied long and hard from books thought to be long gone to learn the art of Alchemy. Through trial and error he has gotten close to perfecting the art, but hasn't fully grasped the concept yet, he practices apothecary because it is believed to be related to alchemy. He is very good at making poisons and other potions

Name: Stevon - Brilliant Omnipotence
Age: Unknown
Sex: Male
Class: Deity
Personality: Stevon is awesome, and he knows it. He's more than willing to flaunt the fact that he is a god, and nothing anybody says can change that.
Background: Stevon is a result of the fusing of Don, the God of Darkness, and Steve, the God of Awesomeness. Being deities of two seperate alignments (One good, one evil) has negated any particular alignment in Stevon. He does what he wants, when he wants. He wields a weapon of incredible power:
