Kingdoms of Yin and YangBackgroundIn an alternate dimention there lies two kingdoms. The kingdom of Barbaroid aka The City of Darkness, and Akoran aka The Kingdom of Light. Barbaroid is basicaly a safe haven for many Demonic creatures. While Acarron houses many followers of the light. Althought Barbaroid is mainly darkness it also has a few creatures of light who serve in the name of the king. Akoran though bathed in light still harbos many creatures of darkness in its shadows. These kingdoms have been at war since times has began yet at this moment there is a time of peace due to abillity of their leaders to see that war now is pointless. But recently due to some from both sides that think the outher city kigdom should be destroyed attacking the opposite city the war has restarted. AkoranAlthough seperated from her sister city by a large desert the land around Akoran is lively and flush. Great mountains protect it from all sides but its front as it lies within a beautiful forest. The plains to the front and fields of flowers as far as the eye can see. The walls are that of a white pearl and the castel shimmers like a diamond with the morning. Servants of this land share one great likeness thier bonding to one another. They share the same life force that makes them all forever youthful. Or the look the same way as they did when they recevied the shared lifeforce. To have it was a sighn of great accomplishment and only a rough few out of the thousands that lived there received it. Their army also consist of thing from the light. Akoran belives in taking out the opposeing city of Barbaroid quickly and is thusley always attacking it. BarbaroidOn the other side of the desert lies the city of Barbaroid. Even though Barbaroid experiences both night and day it is always darker then in Akoran. Even so however it is still as lush and beautiful as Akoran. The entier city as is surrounded by a great wall witch are alwyas garded. The wallas a palin stone and are Ice cold to the touch. The people of Barbaroid all have one trait that links them that were all infused with the Dark Soul of Barbaroid either at birth or when they joined the ranks. The Dark Soul is a mass of dark energy that resides in the core of the kingdom. The dark soul can be manifested into many different forms for those who know how to properly weild it. The amount the barabaroid can witstand and recieve themselvs is based on rank, the hight your rank the more Dark soul they have and vise versa. The higher ups of Barbaroid don't really care about destorying the kingdom of light as quickly and therefore only attack when they have an over abundance of units. Searow moved quickly throughout the halls off the palace the metalic chimeing of his chain echoing off the walls. "What the hell dose that woman want now." He sighed shakeing his head slightly sighing once more. "The last time that woman summoned me she sent me to fetch a artifact from the bog in the back of the kingdom. He shook his head once more pushing the door of the throne room open. He walked slowly up to the empty thrones that sat at the back of the room turning his back to them and faceing the door. He sighed once more craking his head slightly to the side before speaking.
"You called me madam?" He smirk now waiting from a reply knowing very well how things were done now. This procedure was done every time he entered the trone room. With so many different abiltys floating about it wouldent be uncommon to find some one who could mimic all characteristic about him. All except for one major indentification that ran through the soul of all Barbaroi. Searow stood there waiting in slilence but not at all patient for the queen to make her apperance. "Woman why did you summon me here?"
It made no sense to wait this long everytime she summoned him she made him wait. This was incredibly nerv wracking to the point of insanity. If she wanted something from him enough to summon him to her pressence, then she should at leats have the decentcy to be waitng for him when he got there. Had he not been a loyaly follower, had he not searved her faithly sense he was chosen to join. At the very least he desrved prompt orders from her. "Woman wll you please tell me what it is that I am to do!"
He would continue to stand there in complete silence still just waiting for the woman to show up. He sighed again taking a looking around the room in whitch he had stood countless times before. The eight collumns that stood on either side of the room seemed to bend an move as he stood. The walls seeming to melt and the floor beneath he melting. However at the same time this room seemed to invite you in as if to trap you and never let you go. However Searow simply stood there barely watching and waiting with very little patice for the queen to finally appear.

"Perhaps I shouldn't send you out on any more missions, my dear Searow. You're talking to yourself. Was the bog too much for you to handle? Too lonely a trip?" The voice seemed to float on air before finally solidifying. A blonde had appeared on the throne, sitting straight, yet coyly. With a higher-than-thou attitude, sugared contempt seemed to leak from her voice with every word she spoke.
The queen had a smile on her features that never seemed to reach her eyes. "Being a Queen, I have many duties to attend to." It was a line attatched to a long, drawn out story that many had heard many a time. She chose not to continue on with it. "At least I don't call you and leave you waiting for hours at a time. I'm never more than a few moments late, and you're complaining about my absence before you even enter the room."
She adjusted her seating, crossing one leg over the other. She had decided on melodrama. "Oh how you harrass me. Burn me at the stake, pin me to the cross. Why do you have so little patience with me? Do you not like me?" A hypocrite at heart, she had no reason to speak down to him. When she asked, she wanted something done. She had no patience to wait. However, at the moment she was simply stalling for time. Not a nice thing to do at all.

Anoron moved through the halls with measured step. She couldn't help it, she'd been trained that way almost from birth, following her fathers steps in everything he did. Her mother, only slightly perplexed at her daughter's choice of career, had decided not to push home-making on her after it had become obvious that warcraft was not simply a fad 'Annie' would out grow.
It had taken years for her to secure her place as a general, but she loved every moment of it. Now, however, she was taking a break from her duties to enjoy breakfast, which meant a trip through the market. She passed the clothing vendors, happy in her leather gear and white cape, bearing the symbol of her status between the shoulder blades, simple and unnoticeable unless you knew what it was.
And the vendors certainly did. General meant more money to spend. As she passed several tried to hold up ornate dresses, jewelry, shoes, and even a small animal for sale. She smirked slightly and kept walking. Half way down the street the food vendors began. Everything from bread to fruits and vegetables to meat fresh cut or fresh cooked.
Stopping in front of one of the many fruit stands Anoron met the grinning, welcoming gaze of the vendor.
"Goodmorning Annie!" The man bellowed, his rotound frame jiggling as he laughed with merriment. "Here for some breakfast?"
"Goodmorning Malachi," Anoron smiled broadly at the man. "Yes, my stomache always seems to win out in the end. Food seems to be a necessity. Still keeping up to no good I'm sure."
"Oh," He laughed again, merriment glowing in his eyes. "I can't keep anything from a general!"
Anoron shook her head, picking up two apples and a small bunch of grape like fruit. Pulling the money from her pouch she handed it to Malachi. "Don't spend it all in one place, and give your wife my regards. It's been too long since I've seen her out here with you. What has it been, two weeks?"
He sighed. "Yes, she's been wanting to redo everything in our home," He kept his merry grin. "Looking mighty fine, but I have to agree it gets lonely out here..."
Anoron smiled broadly almost laughing. "Well, try not to get too bored." She shook her head.
"I'll do my best general!" He saluted, to which Anoron promptly rolled her eyes and walked away, leaving his bellowing laugh behind her with a grin.

Searow smirked and chuckled a bit to himself his back still faceing the throne. "Well ma'lady of corse I don't like you, I hate you. I thought you knew that already." He chuckled abit more to himself craking his neck just slightly "Now if you don't mind, i'm pretty sure you called me here for more than just my company no?" He would allow that same smirk to continue to play upon his lips.
"So what shall I do for you today? Fetch you some coffe maybey?" His voice was very sarcastic, not at all how one would speak to the queen. "Or maybey perhaps you'd just like me to scratch your back?' He luaghed abit more shakeing his head slightly still however never turning to face the throne.
He stood there a moment not saying a work waitng for her to speak if she planed to if at all. "What no snide remark. Nothing boiling up in that thing under that blonde hair yours?" He laughed once more snikering just abit. "Is my dear out witty comebacks from that head shaped sponge atop your shoulders." He smirked once more now just waiting for orders.

She laughed. "What else would I want besides your company? I'm lonely. I called for you to come cheer me up. My King has all but detached me from his thoughts; ever since that fling with that girl- yes, I know about it, he has been distant with me. ***** b*****d." As Aiden stood, she wondered how much her love in question had heard. She loved the view of this room. With the height, tall columns, and distance, her General seemed so tiny. As she moved to step down, her form disappeared.
Without missing a beat, it re-appeared behind Searow who, most likely, had expected the trick. After all, with loyalty came recognition of behaviour.
"I care not, however. Faithfulness was never something I faltered in, and what can you expect from a man, anyhow? He is still my King, and I shall treat him as such." Despite her flippant attitude, rage and pain still lurked beneath the surface. It was a sore spot she didn't wish to delve further in to or speak about anymore.
The nostalgic moment seemed to drain every snide remark, and she was glad Searow's back was turned not to see her faltering face. Moments later, she had regained composure and the playful smile was back to grace her lips. She walked to the side of his form, hands behind her back. The plain white dress she wore subtly accented her figure as it trailed across the floor. It was sleeveless, as always, to show off the tattoos on her arms.
"There are many things boiling in this sponge-shaped head. Do not be so quick to mock it, as some are of most concern to you. Anxious to know? You are unusually quick today with your speech; I think I'll let you talk yourself out before letting you in on the big secret. Tell me, what of Akoran, our wonderful sister city that is up to no good?" As she spoke, she circled around him, mainly out of restlessness. It seemed as if other things were on her mind.

The wall seemed to twist and to bend, just to give way to the being stepping through. An upturned hand with elongated nails jutting forth, being followed by a hanging head with white locks draping down. It all covered by black hat resembling that of a mock cowboys hat, and not long the entire for stood before them both. Hand now falling to his side as the other moved to adjust a pair of crimson glasses on his face.
A shrug from his shoulders and a sound was all he presented them with. He walked forth dark eneregies still leaping from his form and skittering across the room. His eyes stered forth lazily at the two, and the blade at his side jangled with each step. The demon skulls eyes burning into both of them, just like his own.
"I leave for a few moments, and you are already acting out of line..." as his brow seemed to shift as if confused. "I just wish.." pausing for a moment to look at them to make sure the words were right. "I just wish we could all remember our place." Looking to the wolf and then the door "You need to get back to the War Room the others are waiting.." and before he shifted his gaze "Oh and fetching coffee is a very important task, at least it is not the paper."
Then he looked to the woman in the room "As for you, grow up.." he smirked slightly to her. "Stop being so nosey in my affairs, and leave my men to their work" he stood back and began to walk out the door. Speaking over his shoulder "Don't you have your own Warriors for you to bother.." as he continued on.

"Oomi come on." said the young woman. She stood in the bazaar of the beautiful Akoran. Not far from her was a strange creature. It was a little bigger than a hummingbird, but had the limbs of a bat complete with a long tail with a tuft of brown fur at its end. Some would porbably mistaken it for a prehistoric monster if it weren't so small. The runt tried to pilfer a mackeral from a fisherman's stand but was scared off by its owner. The creature frightfully took flight back to its master, the young woman.
"Please do not draw attention. You know we're aren't supposed to be out here." she giggled while petting it. She adjusted the hood of her cloak and continued down the street. Quinn was her name but she was known as Princess Quinneth, heir to the throne of Akoran. None had really seen her outside of the palace walls because she was simply not allowed. However, that did not stop her from doing what she thought was right. If she were to become ruler, than she would have to know her subjects, and what better way then being in their presence? If caught she would simply explain it was a study. Still though, she wouldn't doubt a punishment would not be issued for her disobedience. Traveling with her was one of her summoned creatures and friend, Oomi.
Quinn loved the marketplace. It was the most crowded this time of day. "Ah yes the bazaar is the best place to meet people and hide all at the same time. I'm sure my servants still think I am in bed." she smirked. She was enjoying her "study" when she bumped itno a sad looking child.
"Oh little boy." she asked, making sure her face was hidden, "What's wrong?"
He simply pointed to a suculent plum in a fruit stand. "I haven't any money though."
"Oh is that all?" she smiled and grabbed the fruit. She happily handed it to the boy. He thanked her and ran off.
"Rulers must remain benevolent in order to recieve the love of their subjects." she put the mental note away when the vendor gave her a look. He held out his hand, wanting some form of pay in return for the fruit.
"Oh....oh! Hello!" she grabbed his hand and shook it.
"Noooo." he responded, agitated, "How do you expect to pay for that plum?"
"Pay...?" she never had to pay for things by herself, "Well if you let me return to the... my home I will gladly retrieve the money for that fruit."
"Hmph how stupid do you think I am?!" he spat at her, "You will pay one way or another." he called for the police nearby.
"Wait I swear I'm no thief I-I..." she shook as the police made their way towards them. They began to run just as Quinn took off. Oomi fell off of her shoulder but took off in flight right behind her. "Perhaps this wasn't the best idea." she held onto her cloak tight as she ran. If her identity was discovered she'd be in even worse trouble. That's when she saw her, General Astalder, just up ahead.
"Stop thief!" yelled the police.
Quinn pushed passed Anoron and into the crowd. Oomi accidentally smacked into the general's forehead and fell into her basket of food. The poor thing lay with its mouth wide open and tail twitching.

Anoron turned in time to hear the guards. She saw the girl but she was too close at this point for her to stop the theif. And besides, something fury seemed to have planted itself into her face, falling down into the basket she carried. Snatching the thing up carefully but firmly, she looked closely at it, then into the crowd, now parting for the guards to get through.
Sighing, she dropped her basket at the booth she was at, dodging down one of the side streets, still clutching the creature.

Searow sighed and shook his head. Another pointless meeting. He turned to the queen a slight smirk upon his face. "I'm sorry malady but you heared for yourself I have higher orders." He smirked once more turning and following the king out of the room. He turned back around to face the queen as he still laughed walking backwards. "Perhaps another time ma'lady."

Xmar came out from the castle after debriefing some new recruits on how to ride horses. He had got annoyed after their repeated questions. He tried to answer but it was no use.
He made his way down into the marketplace and saw that a scene was playing out - police, generals the two usually didn't mix - atleast not in his case. He unsheathed his sword and tapped his left foot on the ground twice before dashing towards his friend Anoron. a few moments later he was beside her looking about casually,
"So whats up, red-head?" He said with a small smirk - still glancing around for anyone running from where they were. Noticing that his sight was somewhat hindered by his black headband that drooped over his eyes, he pulled it up with a wink.
"There we go. Why're the gaurds in such a fuss?"

Anoron whirled around, fire in her eyes at the name 'red-head'. However when she saw the speaker she rolled her eyes and shook her head. 'Red-head' had become a nick-name for her when she first entered the ranks. It hadn't been a friendly one when spoken by most. As she rose, the name quietted to be spoken only behind her back. Still, she only let certain people call her that, one being the man before her know.
"I think the headband makes you look better when it covers your face more..." She smirked back after he'd readjusted it. She held up her hand, putting the small rodent in front of Xmar's face. "The guards are chasing a thief. The one that owns this little... thing."
She sighed. She was getting tired of holding the squirming beast. Its tail kept curling around her wrist guard, and she almost recognized the little creature. She couldn't place where she'd seen it, or one like it, which for some reason agitated her. "Should we help them or just turn the creature over. I can't help but think I've seen it before," She sighed, looking down the side street they were standing in. "You decide, I haven't had breakfast yet. It's sitting at a booth back there, probably pillaged by now."

Quinn looked back, hearing Anoron's voice. She had Oomi!
"Oh no, oh no, oh no!" she thought, "I can't go back there, but I can't summon another animal to save Oomi either. It would draw too much attention." she shook her fists in frustration. She turned around to see another seafood stand. While the vendor was busy with a customer, Quinn silently snuck a fish from a tray. She snuck away back to the corner where she had watched the two generals with Oomi. She felt disgusted holding the small, slimy fish.
"Oomi." she said, but in the large crowd it would have made no difference if she whispered. "Oomi!" she called a little louder, while waving the treat. She hoped it could hear her.
Oomi struggled in the general's grasp. It managed to squirm its body out of her hand but she still had its tail. That's when it heard the voice of its master. Although it was barely detectable among the other voices in the market to a human, Oomi was able to find the familiar voice's location with ease. It did not see its master but a hand waving a fish- a mackeral to be exact. Oomi's eyes lit up and it began to go crazy. It wriggled and flapped, squeaked and scratched just for the general to let go. It began to bite her the pulled its tail free. The small creature flapped frantically toward its prize.
Quinn looked at her hand to see her bait had been taken just as she had hoped. She smiled and pulled Oomi into hiding with her.
