Okay, so I'm in a semi-solid relationship. (We're serious about each other, but we aren't officially "going out"). That's not the problem though, just setting up for it...
Okay, so we're pretty serious, and I'm sure I love her, but it seems that the longer this goes on, the more into it she gets and vice versa for me. I mean, she's everything to me, but I can't help but feel guilty when I think that maybe I might be unintentionally setting her up for a fall...
I don't want to leave her, but I want to take things slower. I keep getting more and more uncomfortable around her, and lately, the stress has been causing some depressive episodes. (Where I'm so down, that it's debilitating. I can't even find the energy to talk. And when this happens while I'm on the phone, she assumes I'm angry or worries that I might become self-destructive.)
What do you do in a situation like this?

Maybe tell her you need to think about some things...I am kind of the same situation with my bf...we get a long great but things happen that make me not want to talk and it seems like i am mad at him...though I am not...if that happens and you are not tell her right away...or the problem might get worse. Just take a step back and think about your relationship....maybe she is having the same feelings and you just don't know...just try to talk it out!

In my opinion, you should take a break. Don't end your relationshp, and don't do the whole "lets date other people"-crap. Maybe you can visit your family for a week and she can visit hers. Or maybe you could go on seperate vacations for a couple of weeks. Or just go to a relationship adviser (I'm sure there's a better name for that profession, I just can't figure it out). But to me it sounds like you've got a lot of problems with your relationship. Go see a pro, don't ask us immature Gaians wink

I'm no expert at this, but I thin you should tell her what's going on, and just take it from there. If she is really into you, she could understand what's happening.
Wow that sounds corny.
But that's my opinion.
