So we have a fireworks show over the lake every year. This crazy guy who lives across from us buys $3-5000 worth just in time for the 4th, and then blows them up in a mesmerizing fashion. The show was going great, and then we got to his "Grand Finale". He lit this monsterous snake-shaped beacon (that I could clearly make out from across the lake, about 1/4 mile away), it flew into the air, AND THEN...
It arced and slammed into the lake, with no explosion.
...Silly duds ruining a show.
How was everyone's 4th of July?

Pretty good. I spent most of the day working on a take-home final. ._.
But there was a fireworks show at the university stadium...which is just across the street from my apartment. cool

Oooh! I was in Yellowstone, and there were these pretty fireworks! There were these mesmerizing swirly ones...
