Getting Started:
Before you get started RPing you must first apply for a character from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword. On post six there is a list of characters from the game that you can roleplay as. If you find an available character you would like to be, you must PM me, SarahMacDougal, with a request for that character. You can claim a maximum of two characters at the beginning of the RP. Once you have recieved a confirming reply from me, you may then come back and post with your character(s).
All secondary characters must find their way to one of the three lords; Lyndis, Eliwood, or Hector.
Please don't start characters in convienent and inappropriate places just so you can get to a lord faster.
Characters should start in the same general area as they do in the game. For example: Rebecca was found at her town in Pharae in the game. In this RP she should start somewhere near Pharae. Some characters are already bound to certain duties. Legault, Jaffar, and other members of the Black Fang should start RPing in the Black Fang like Sain and Kent will be serving Marquess Caelin. Other characters have ambitions that could place them differently from where they originated from. Raven has a strong ambition to destroy Ostia, so this allows him to be in Ostia.
The plot for this RP is the same as the original game. Lyn leaves the plains hoping to find her grandfather Lord Hausen, Marquess of Caelin. Lord Lundgren has poisioned his brother, hoping to claim the throne, but it is up to Lyn and her party to put an end to his trechory. A year after Lord Lundgren's suitable death, Eliwood begins searching for his father Lord Elbert, Marquess of Pharae, who has gone missing. Meanwhile, Sonia has corrupted the Black Fang and Nergal seeks a way to awaken the dragons.

Frequently Asked Questions: If you have any questions, please PM me, SarahMacDougal, and I will try to respond with a valid answer. I will also post your question and the answer below.
Q: My character dies in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword. What do I do when they are supposed to die in the RP?
A: Just because a character dies in the game doesn't mean they are destined to die in the RP. There are not many events that will occur in this RP that have occured in the game. Your job is to capture your character(s)' personality to the best of your ability, to become that character. You are the only one who can decide what their fate is.
For example: In the game, Lloyd and Linus die at the hands of Limstella after fighting Eliwood and his party. In the RP, based on Lloyd and Linus' personalities, they will most likely remain loyal to the Black Fang and their father, but perhaps when they are later ordered to destroy Eliwood, they bump into their little sister Nino. The boys might put aside their differences and join the party instead of fighting.. or dying for that matter.
Q: Are you god? How are you sure?
A: Yes. I can make grilled cheese sandwiches.
Q: What came first, the chicken or the egg?
A: Neither. Your mother came first.

The story begins... A young girl dressed in traditional nomad attire was walking beside her horse, guiding him with the reins across the plains of Sacae. Using her free hand, she shielded her eyes from the vigorous sun and started to rub off the beads of sweat that had formed on her forehead from this especially hot day. When she could tell her hourse was rested, she mounted her steed and made haste to her destination. She was riding towards the mountains, hoping to reach the town Bulgar before nightfall. Unfortunately, she had chose the last minute to fetch supplies she needed for this evening and the hot air washing against her face seemed to be her punishment.

Already in the city of Bulgar were two Knights from the land of Lycia. They were seated near the village square, tending to their own business. These two knights had a horse, and they used those horses to gallop here all the way from Caelin. Of course, why would they bother coming all the way here? The calavier in green had started a small fire. The sun was setting, but it wasn't getting cold. The calavier grabbed some water and doused the fire with it. After that, he looked at the wet ashes, confused. He lit another small fire. All the while, the red calavier was watching from his seat, apparently not amused. "Sain... what are you doing?" Sain turned to face the red calavier, with the energy of a young child. His smile was decieving. "Well, aren't you at least a small bit curious why water puts out fire, Kent?" Kent began to wish he had never bothered to ask, "I mean, I was told by an alchemist that water is made up of Hydrogen and Oxygen, both which are used to fuel fire! It's like totally unbelievable!" "Sain, you need to stop doing these... stupid things. Can't you just sit down and wait?" Sain crossed his arms, defiantly. "It's your fault that there's nothing to do! You won't let me go into the bar, so what else am I supposed to do!?" "I didn't let you go into the bar because I know all you'll do there is drink and hit on as many women as you can. We aren't here for pleasure, you know. We have a task ahead of us that we need to perform." Sain knew Kent's prediction of his behavior was accurate, he began daydreaming of how much fun all that would be. "Well, why don't you perform our task, and I go into the bar?" Kent swiftly got up and grabbed Sain by the ear and dragged him back to their seating area. Sain was whinning and screaming the whole way. "No, Sain. We sit here... and wait!"

One of Rebecca’s eyes was closed as she stood out in the forest. Her head was tilted to the side and her tongue was slightly protruding from her mouth. A quiver full of arrows was hanging on her back and a bow was held in her hand, pointing off into the distance. The hand that grasped the white fish line carefully drew back and let go of the arrow, causing it to fly off the string as it bounced back into place, the arrow reached its target.
“Excellent!” she exclaimed and ran over to the tree it had hit. She had planned on going game hunting today but that didn’t seem to be going too well. The only thing she hit happened to be sick and bound to die soon anyway, and, well, there was no way she would take that home.
Carefully trying to take the arrow out of the bark, even though she was rather sure it would be unusable, it seemed best to keep it in case. She was always afraid of running out of arrows, though she only used them for hunting, in a time of need, and she would have liked to keep as many as possible with her – broken, bent, whatever.
As the arrow finally came loose she fell to the ground softly behind her. “Darn,” she mumbled, “this looks bad.” Still, despite the quality, she looked behind her and dropped it into the quiver. She needed some money for a new bow, but how she would obtain that was beyond her.
(( *sigh* I need a Pherean... Somebody take Wil, Lowen, Issy, Harken... ANYBODY. D: ))

A tall man with elegant purple hair tied back with an indigo headband and two scars over his left eye left a massive fortress on the isle Valor carrying a burlap sack, the humid weather making him sweat just as he exited the building. The man called out to a soldier to bring him a horse, which the soldier hastily did. Mounting this horse, the purple-haired man slung the makeshift burlap bag over his shoulder with some rope and kicked his heels into the horse's sides. He charged through the steamy tropical air towards the northern coast of the island and, finally reaching it, dismounted the horse, took the saddlebags and his burlap sack and walked to the shore. "And now we wait..."
"Oh, bother!" Canas shouted in annoyance as yet another potion exploded in his face. "Drat. There goes another vial... I'll have to buy more of these..." He wiped his monocle off on his sleeve before placing it back on his eye and leaning over his workbench again. "Oi, shaman! Finish yer potion before I start gettin' medieval on your store!"
"I'm c-coming..." Canas gulped as he hastily poured a green liquid with the consistency of tar into a new glass vial. Clumsily dumping an orange liquid of the exact oposite consistency on top of the green one, he moved his hand in a circular motion over the container, muttering with his eyes closed. The liquid turned a pleasant shade of pink and began giving off the smell of extremely dusty roses mixed with the smell of fresh earth. Canas corked the vial with a satisfied smile and walked out to the front room of his apothecary. He handed the gruff looking sailor the vial with a faint smile and said "Cover your ship's rudder with this, and she'll sail twice as fast, regardless of wind. That will be 3,000 gold pieces, if you please." "Fine, fine. Just quit with yer long words. Can't stand 'em." The sailor placed a grubby little bag of money on the counter and took the vial, exiting the shop. Canas returned to the back of the shop, adjusting his apron and brushing his deep purple hair out of his face. As he leaned over the workbench, he instinctively reached for a new glass vial from the small wooden case of them. His hand found only velvet and empty vial slots. "Oh, bother... Michael! Get down here!" A young boy with fair brown hair sporting an apron similar to Canas' came crashing down the stairs. Canas' apprentice leaned against the narrow doorway that lead to the stairs which in turn led to thier seperate sleeping quarters on the second floor of the shop. "Michael, I'm going out. We've run out of vials again. Mind the shop until I get back, and be sure you only sell powder spells. No liquids, understood? I'll be back in an hour or two. Behave yourself while I'm out." With that, the Shaman hung his apron on a peg on the wall and took a faded maroon travelling cloak from the peg next to it. Throwing the cloak about his shoulders, he stepped out into the sunny day in Badon Port. Vials. It's always vials. Why couldn't we run out of envelopes instead? Oh well, it's only an excursion to Santaruz, and that's only a mile or so up the road...
