What do you do with your dolls? (Do you leave them in the box? Take them out? How do you display them? Do you take them out of the clothes they came in? Do you make them clothes and stuff? Do you name them and come up with personalities for them? etc)
I've never kept my dolls inside their boxes (which I keep). I always take them out and if I don't play with them (like with my Madame Alexanders) I display them in my room.
But ever since I got into Pullips, I've been naming them, giving them personalities, dressing them, and taking pictures of them (for picfics). When I'm not playing with them I keep them in my closet since my roommate would probably be like "OMGWTF?!! Thats liek soooooooooo gay!!!!1111!!!!!ELEVEN!!!!1" or be scared of them.
Needless to say, I think my dolls are much better company than my roommate.

Haha, I hear that! Sort of, I live at home, since I'm only sixteen, and my dad thinks me and my brother are totally weird ;]
But I hate hate hate when people just leave their dolls on a shelf, held up by one of those uncomfortable stands, in their stock outfits.
I customise them, play with them, make clothes/other stuff for them, and take pictures once in a while too biggrin sometimes I even go to planned little meets to meet up with other dollie dorks and their dollie childrens wink

I take 'em out, display them, change their clothes, take pictures, change their positions from time to time, and sometimes play with 'em 3nodding I gieve them all names and personalities. I buy stuff for them (furni, clothes miniatures ect.) and then I buy more dolls, and the whole cycle (?) repeats itself. sweatdrop

I think it's cool when guys collect dolls and stuff. If I have a son when I'm older I'll definitely get him a doll. I've heard that boys who have dolls grow up to be good fathers. I only leave a few of my dolls in their stock clothes - the Madame Alexanders. I play with my Pullips and every now and then I change my old American Girl Dolls.

Personally, I think all parents find their children to be a bit strange. It's because of the generation gap between parent and child. Of course, kids often believe that it's their parents who are the weird ones. sweatdrop Anywho, with the whole doll topic. I do enjoy making items for my dolls, like pillows and clothes. There are some dolls that I don't play with or handle a lot, such as; porcelien, delicate dolls, and dolls with sentimental value. I do care for those dolls by making sure those dolls stay clean and in a somewhat comfortable position. Even if I do not really 'play' with certain dolls or keep them in box it does not mean I don't care about them. Some dolls I just really enjoy looking at, like we look at paintings, and aren't many dolls considered pieces of art? wink

Depends on the doll, I usually like to keep the one of a kind ones in a doll case, and the barbie ones, I usually just keep in the box.
The Takara Jenny ones, I sometimes like to play with them *^_^* so i just debox those ones... razz
