I don't know how many people like this show, but it really is a great show if you like Detective series with twists. Tony Shalhoub (I've mostly seen him in the Men In Black movies as the guy whose head regrows, but he's also been in Thirteen Ghosts, a really scary horror movie)plays Adrian Monk, an obsessive-complusive, germophobic, and generally fearful Detective, who isn't really part of the police anymore due to his OCD. Monk always hires an assistant to carry around wipes for when he shakes hands with people, nurse him when sick, etc. It's a very original bunch of characters that makes the show (Obvious: USA, "Characters Welcome"). I've watched the show through each of its seasons so far and have not been disappointed.
- It's getting ready for it's next season set to air Friday at 9:00 pm Eastern. If you haven't ever watched the show and are bored and looking for a laugh or a detective show, check it out.
