Defeated ALL the Dark Aeons in FF10?
OK , Not actually looking for tips , just curious to know if anyone has ever done it biggrin

Sane Kind Lady Defeated ALL the Dark Aeons in FF10? And for goodness sake , how? Ah, I wish I could help ya ma'am, but...I havent played through Final Fantasy X yet... Oh, and for future reference, I've made a sticky for questions like this, it's labeled "Help Please", not to seem rude, but that sticky cuts down on "help threads" which can clog up a guild page, but thanks for asking, if someone can help, I'm sure they will.

(it was 3 AM!!!) i was 12 when i did. pretty much all you get is painfuler expressions on Yunie's face. (poor yunie... crying )

biggrin Er..no .......maybe they're not called Dark Aeons in other versions? The ones I'm talking about are .....Dark Valefor blocks the way to Besaid village when you try to return there at a certain point , Dark Ixion is on a tower on the Thunder plains etc........they usually appear when you talk to a ghostly Yevon monk. I find them the most difficult monsters to defeat in the whole game , even worse than the Monster Arena. I only managed two.

I kno wut u'r talking about! They hav HP in like the millions! Well for starters, hav all the clestial weapons and choose ur party. I recomend Rikku, Tidus, and Wakka for their overdrives. Hav auto-abilities like auto-haste and auto-potion. If u cast magic like haste and the character is ko'd, then the ability will b gone when they r revived. And ONLY hav x-potions in ur stock cuz when a character is in the SOS status, they will use the least potion like a "potion." Rikku's overdrives r really useful... Use Wakka's Attack reels and Tidus' Blitz Ace./ Use the overdrive mode Stoic only. Hav a constant Haste effect and Auto-Life. Make sure u hav 255 stats and 99,999 HP. When Bahamut's limit is full, he will use impulse followed by Mega Flare so u wanna b sure u'r still alive after Impulse... If u need any mor help, PM me...

I don't have the internation release so no. There are no dark aeons in my copy.

That's a pity , Setzer , they are the MOST difficult creatures I've ever encountered in any game. They are evil , and I mean REALLY evil versions of the Aeons. You dont have to defeat them all , but you WANT to , 'cos they're sooooo mean! I've never heard of anyone being able to defeat them all. Mind you , I've never had max stats either crying

all you need to do is
-Summon Yojimbo and pay him lots of gil (i'm talking millions here)
-Yojimbo should then do Zanmato on the dark Aeon killing it instantly
An easier way to make sure Yojimbo does Zanmato is just to keep using him,once you pay him 999,999,999gil then he always does Zanmato when you summon him
