God! I just can't stand people that only use netspeak most the time you can't even tell what they are saying! Not that everybody that uses netspeak is bad, but it gets annoying the millionth time you ask "What?".

Kinner God! I just can't stand people that only use netspeak most the time you can't even tell what they are saying! Not that everybody that uses netspeak is bad, but it gets annoying the millionth time you ask "What?". And then they go on saying " I t0ld U @lr3@dY I dId Ur /V Tl-l3R!" "Huh? Listen, there's a new language called English, have you heard of it yet?"

" I t0ld U @lr3@dY I dId Ur /VTl-l3R!"
I think the first part says, "I told you already I did your_______".... I don't understand the last word though...

I was chatting with my friends, when they eventually got mad on a guestbook and one of them posted that.

The last part of the /V thing looked like ler, but I'm not sure. Text speack should only be kept on the text messages to decrease the cost. At one point, text speak might have been good for impossible to work out passwords, but now, its just so commonly used. I had to ask someone what LOL ment, but at least the people at that chat site there were perfectly grammatical, excluding the occaisonal "LOL" and "WB" (used when ever someone returned to the chat), so Iwasn't exactly aware of how bad the problem is until I met certain people on Gaia online (can't remember their names). Even I think that english can't go down the drain that way, and I wonder if it has spread to other languages?

I sure hope not. This text talk HAS to stop. People have gottn lazy and don't want to write out their words and this is what we get: "OMG! LMAO!" translation:"oh my god! laughing my a** off!" Yea its shorter but I've seen people post things that are so abbrieviated that if you don't ask what it means, you're scratching your head for an hour trying to figure it out. Totally ridiculous. scream

I just made a guess on that, and if Gaia online had a SPOILERS button, I'd tell you. Actually, hmm. It didn't work. Try to highlight the below. mother yes, that's what the last part of the I already told you thing just stood out as.

I'd say it's nther, or neither. It most definately ends in ther, and I do believe /V=N. So he could be saying "I already told you! I did! You neither!"
