Hello all, I just got some news i wasnt really expecting and im just not sure what i should do about it, You see i really like this girl, and last week she told me that she liked me alot as well, we're good friends irl, and we were talking a little while ago and we happened to bring up the subject, so i asked her if she still liked me, and then she turned around and said, well dont take this the wrong way but i'm kinda seeing someone else and im pretty sure we're going to go out. So me being me i said well if you do go out you know i'll always be there for you etc etc....I played it cool but on the inside i was hurting quite a bit.

Anyhow, i was just wondering, what should i do about this? I've been thinking about it ever since she told me and i still have no idea..So any help is wonderful.

But anyway, that's off topic. Well, my advice to you , Fudge, it's leave it as it is. I've been trough a similar situation (altough I think mine was quite a bit messier to be honest). I've been told I'm a strong as person, even if I personally would just set me on the normal level, and for me it took a week before I was reset to my old tracks, and a month before everything was entirely back to normal again. Since I quite frankly respected her choice not to go out with me and go out with the other person, we didn't have any problems to keep our friendship on the level it still was (of course it's a lot more complicated than this, but I'm going to leave it at that - after all, I'm not here to share my life rolleyes )

What I'm trying to say is, you'll bounce back, no problem. Your continued friendhip is however all up to you. Whenever you feel jealousy, be happy for her. Someone will come around for you too, and if you play your cards right, you can still keep her friendship. Don't count on her breaking up her relationship though.

trust me she will realize your a good guy and when your time comes it will make it all worth it. it will make the moment sweeter and when the time is right the love stronger. so just hang in there.....Princess Taila (an American in Real Life)

Not to sound pessimistic, but... Aim for a good friendship instead. It lasts longer.
