Species Water Dragon Water dragons are by far the cutest of all dragons. They're docile and sociable as well, and the easiest to tame. Being amphibians of a sort, they can breathe both underwater and on land. They also have the ability to spray water from their throats in short but powerful bursts. They're equipped with small finned wings which do not allow them to fly, but are very useful underwater. While swimming, they can be folded back for greater speed. Water dragons have powerful tails with a large fin at the end for swimming, and small arms and legs with webbed fingers. While young, they're stout and chubby, but by the time they've reached adulthood, they're serpentine and sleek with beautiful aquatic colors. They mainly eat shrimp and other crustaceans of the sea. Most Water Dragons are mediumweights, but there are also some lightweights. Heavyweights are extremely rare and Featherweights and Colossalweights do not exist.

Home Lauviha
There is no government in the underwater kingdom of Lauviha. Lauviha isle, however, is policed by mercenaries hired by the nobles and high society that lives there. There is no form of government otherwise. Sometimes it gets messy, but there is very little trouble on Lauviha Isle -- the water dragons that live on land defend the merchants and peoples.
Lauviha is a giant, underwater continent, populated by a huge concentration of water dragons and other aquatic species, even aquatic humanoids. Coral reefs and an utopian abundance of seafood lie deep below the water, and there pretty much all species get along well.
Most air-breathing species reside on Lauviha Isle, which is connected to Lauviha by an underwater corridor. All along the corridor and at the ocean bottom, there is a less populated, farmlands-like community that relies on magic to keep air and oxygen in giant, dome-like areas. For air-breathers, access to Lauviha is only possible by travelling along this corridor. Travel from one end of the corridor to the other usually takes at least a week. In any case, humanoids and water dragons get along very well.
Lauviha Isle acts like a port between Feilun, the northern continent, and the Kingdom, so it's a very busy place, much like a giant port city, crammed with all different sorts of beings. There are very, very few dragons other than water dragons on Lauviha Isle and no dragon nests at all apart from water dragon dens. Overall, Lauviha is a pretty nice place, if you don't mind the smell of fish. The Cave of Kaelin & Nixie
Kaelin and Nixie escaped to this cave on the western point of Lauviha Isle after a group of dragon-hating humans killed off the rest of their den. The cave in which hey live is underneath a rocky cliff in an area of the island where little to no humans or dragons reside. During low tide, the cave is exposed to the air, while during high tide it is underwater. Due to this, Kaelin and Nixie's lives are dictated by the changing tides. During low tide, the two dragons stay away from the cave, in fear that humans could find them asleep and vulnerable. When the tide is high, Kaelin and Nixie return to their cave to sleep, safe underwater from the human threat above them.

Story Kaelin was born in the underwater kindgom of Lauviha to the two Eldest of his den, Amadahy and Dalit. He was the only egg in his parent's clutch, and they were overjoyed at the birth of their only son. They named him Kaelin, a word that meant 'rejoicer', in hopes that he would be happy always and bring as much joy to the rest of the world as he did to them upon his birth. Shortly after Kaelin's hatching, Amadahy, Dalit, and the majority of Kaelin's den were killed after eating poisoned food that was given to them by a group of dragon-hating humans. The only ones to survive were Kaelin, because he was too young at the time to eat solid food, and his nurse, a citizen named Nixie. In fear of the local human population, Nixie and Kaelin fled to the western tip of Lauviha Isle, where they made their home in a seashore cave.

Family  Kaelin // A baby water dragon of noble birth. His parents Amadahy and Dalit were killed by dragon-hating humans. Nixie is his adoptive mother, of a sort. Amadahy // Kaelin's birth mother and one of the eldest of her den. She was killed when the den's food source was poisoned by a group of dragon-hating humans. Dalit // Kaelin's birth father and the other eldest of the den in which Kaelin was raised. He was killed in the same incident in which Amadahy and the rest of the den were.  Nixie // A citizen dragon. Kaelin's nurse and, since his parents were killed, kind of his adoptive mother. Nixie and Kaelin reside together in a cave on the western tip of Lauviha Isle.

Friends  Tigris // A water dragon from the Nest of Coral Wreath near the Isle of Lauviha. He met Nixie and Kaelin when fishing off the west coast one day and almost running into the baby dragon. When he found out about the tragedy involving Nixie and Kaelin's den, he offered to take them in, but Nixie declined -- at least for the moment. Are there feelings rising up between these two water dragons?
