And it said that Nintendo would most likely be reaseing(sp?) it sometime in October because they want to have it out before the PS3. Now, I know that this is just a rumor and all, but, if this really did happen, what would your intake on it be?

I'm also predicting a September/October release. You were close, by-the-by wink
It has its advantages, but it would be diverging from Nintendo's standared November launch. It's no big deal as it would allow them to work out any production gliches and get a firm foothold for Golden Quarter/Christmas sales.

Darn...but you should save up anyway so you aren't broke when you buy the Wii and some games for it xD

At least we dont have to save up 600 just for a console....unlike PS3 fanboys I'll wiat a year or two for the price to drop on that baby.

I'll probably end up buying certain PS3 games while I await the system to go through a few price-drops... There's one problem with that, though. Supposedly, you have to 'register' your games to a specific system (like a CD Key or something)... That could make things more difficult to find and buy used games crying
The Wii on the other hand ^_^ I'm so getting it Day 1!

Yarr. Sony have terribly shot themselves in the foot with that little mess (as well as soooo many other things).
But yay to the Wii! Does anyone have an idea which out of the release games they would buy with it? Mine will be Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I would have chose Super Smash Bros Brawl. But according to ONM, it isn't out till next year. crying
