OMG!! eek .....you wouldn't believe this..... sweatdrop I grabbed a deck of ordinary playing cards,jokers not included...52 cards,I pick one up not knowing what it was and I made a guess,these were the choices I put in my mind,
choices of suite
numbers or royalty
what number or royalty card....
so..what are the chances of picking up a card of 52 and getting it exactly right,all three...pretty slim,huh? I did it twice. sweatdrop
My first try,I use the guideline above thinking of each in my mind
suite- diamond,heart,club,spade-I chose heart
number/royalty-I chose number
number guess-I guessed 9
I flipped the card over and it was right...my heart raced. xd
2nd try
I had 2 out of three
I guessed,diamond,number, and 5......but it was the 4 of diamonds,still scary close.
3rd try
I got it right
I guessed club,royalty,ace...
flipped the card and I went off to tell my mom again,the second time it happened..
am I..........psychic? 0_o
I mean,what are the chaces of guessing those three out of 52...
This never happened to me before...

well, the chances of drawing a specific card are 52:1, logically. i'm not terribly sure the odds of you mentally selecting a card and that being the one. but now i have something else to do late at night gonk i'm bored when it's dark.

lol.. sweatdrop rofl that's what my boyfriend said too when I asked him,52:1...but I thought the odds would be a bit higher due to suite,type of card(royalty or number),and the number or royalty card..but it's still high anyway...yeah,it's pretty fun on occasions to me...to just sit there and guess the card I'm holding...I want the psychic kind though...with the shapes. whee

chances are actually pretty good, all things considered. Think about how many people try that, on average, every day. I imagine that at least a small ******** do; Playing cards are pretty widely distributed. It only stands to reason that someone would guess right a few times.

Okay...that sounds reasonable...I had never been able to do it before...I have a question,do you know,how many psychic cards are there?I can't quite remember..I'm gonna order some pretty soon. ^_^ I think I'm gonna turn my attention to card guessing and remote viewing for a while.

A lot of people would refer to that as ESP.
Another type of experiment you could try is this:
You could get a deck of cards (or make 25 cars, with 5 symbols on 5 cards each). Then what you do is shuffle the deck reeeeeeally good. Grab a pencil and a peice of paper and write down ho many cards there are (52 with regular cards and 25 with the others). Take the first card on the top of the deck... NO NOT flip it over. Keep it symbol down and try to see if you "know" what the symbol is... Then at the end of it tally up all the right answers after you've gone back and checked the symbols... I think it's something like if you had more than 9 correct you have signs of ESP, anything below is just luck.
I bet it would be more challenging and probably better results if you use a deck of cards... More choices to choose from.

True!I should keep doing that...I recorded my first few guesses when I did it...but I want to try with psychic cards..I just want them.Lol. xd ..I noticed I'm good at stuff like this until I start getting excited and my heart starts racing.

Lol ^_^ ..yeah..I just shock the crap out of me I guess..when you think,you're like"Yeah..it isn't the card of this won't happen and it does or it is.." it's like a small rush of adrenaline....XD

the second time i could have missed a lot less.

I've done this with both a normal deck of cards and some real psychic cards I have. I usually do fairly well. Better than the average odds. I find it quite enjoyable.

Uhh, I dunno if this counts, but a friend of mine I was talking to online found a quarter and, if I remember correctly, said to guess what side was up, and I said tails.
If he wasn't lying, I was correct. o_O
Weird thing is, he didn't even have to tell me. I knew it was tails somehow. o_o;
