This is a welcome from us Mods.
Basic Info: Name: Private. Just call me Parvana or Pari. Age: 20 Gender: Girl. Status: Single. I'm asexual/celibate. Family: Dad, mom, two younger sisters, and an old dog. Hometown: An unearthly paradise called Pepperland. Occupation: English major and operator. Other Hobbies: Jrock, Jpop, Visual Kei, Kpop, Krock, Shakespeare, Monty Python, Harry Potter, candles, Anime, Manga, and sleeping.
Beatles Stuff: Song: Right now...Eight Days a Week. Movie: A Hard Day's Night Member: Ringo forever. heart
Profile: Hi, my name is Parvana. I will keep my real name private for certain reasons (like paranoia!). I have been living on this Earth for twenty years. Just an ordinary college student majoring in English. I love Jesus Christ. I like retro styles (especially from the 60's and 70's), I love street fashion as well and thrift shopping. I like Anime, Manga, British Comedies, European History (especially Russian history), drawing, writing, reading Shakespeare, reading any good book, Harry Potter, LOTR, Jrock, Jpop, Kpop, Ambient Music, New Age Music, and Celtic Music. Of course, I love the Beatles.
My first experience with the Beatles was when I was just three years old. My dad put in a movie he wanted to watch with me and it just happened to be Yellow Submarine. I fell in love with the movie, it was just awesome. The first real Beatles Song I ever remember hearing was "Back in the USSR". I was just in first grade and my dad was putting on some of his old music. My dad turned it way up and it blew me away. Of course, I didn't know the artist/band who was playing that song, but it was the Beatles.
My real love for the Beatles didn't pop up until my last year of Middle School. I was at my sister's friend's party and she her karaoke system out. We were scanning for songs on the playlist and found Yellow Submarine. I was like, "Hey! That's a Beatles Song (I knew about the Beatles, just didn't like them)!" We put it on and started singing it (horribly, I should add! whee ). As we sang it, I remembered the first time watching the movie. From that day forth, I could not get that song out of my head. My dad had some Beatles CDs in his collection (We don't have our old record player anymore, so I can't play any of our records), I would take them and listen to them in my room with the door shut. Soon, I had a growing passion for the Beatles and their music. My parents would tease me for my Beatles obsession since the Beatles was from their time, but I didn't care. I was absolutely in love! (BTW, one day, I was looking for the Yellow Submarine VHS we once had, but I couldn't find it. My mom told me we probably lost it because we move around so much. I'm trying to find the DVD). My friends think I'm crazy for liking such an old band and my high school teachers are shock when I tell them that I enjoy the Beatles's music. I have only one really good friend who likes the Beatles, but that's alright. I'm a new generation fan, even though they were way before my time.
I am happy to welcome all you people to the guild, I hope I can find more fans with the same love and respect for the band like I have. Please enjoy this guild and let's make it a good one, okay?
Hold me, love me, Parvana heart

Sadly, Emradrig is no longer a moderator for SPLHG. This will be kept up in his memory.
I am Emradrig My mom was a Beatlemaniac and she passed her fandom down to me. I've got several of their albums on CD, all three of their movies on VHS, and a bunch of other stuff that I hope to one day show pictures of here. Oh yeah, and I've got this lovely Beatles Anthology book that has a bunch of pictures and stuff. Everything in it was actually said by the Beatles (some of it is Neil Aspinall and George Martin) so it's like an interview with them. I've learned a lot of stuff from that book. I've been told I kinda look like John. My grandparents said they were watching TV and they thought they saw me but it turned out to be an old interview of John Lennon (when he was a little younger). Of course they've also said there is a russian olympic figure skater that looks exactly like me so I'm not too sure about their eye sight.
So anyway, Welcome to the guild, Have a great time and remember heart All You Need Is Love heart

The Basics:
Name: ~Halle~Heydrich~.
Real name: Not giving it out! I don't like it. So just call me by Halle, or Hallish.
Birthday: 1 May 1989.
Other Gaia Stuff: I have an Art Thread, and despite absences, it's still up. n_n PLEASE visit.. Igetlonelysometimes.
The Beatles:
Favourite: Ringo. I heart Ringo. n_n Second: John Third: GEORGIE! But he's really close to being second. His awesomeness is awesome. O: Fourth: Paul. Sorry.. *shrug*
Movie: HELP! Can't get enough of it. xD Song: Too many to pick just one, but I can listen to Ticket to Ride for hours... Same for Love You To.
Education:
Currently, I go to Mt. Olive High School, class of 2007. Yeah. I'm only 16 now.. And without a permit. Not like I need one anyway. .-.
I'm going to transfer to the school in Pennsylvania for my senior year though. Just because I can.
Family Junk:
Status: Divorced. I live with my mom on the weekdays, and my dad on the weekends, and occasionally longer in the summer. (Boo. Like this one. No scanner and no mum makes Hallish lonely. >< )
Siblings: 1. A 4 year old brother. We're 12 years apart. But hey, I'm 4 times his age, I've got more authority! Advantage me.
Yeah. I'm really close to my mum even though we fight at times. And it's relative. Every time I hear Penny Lane, I think of her. XD Same for Back in the USSR. Every time I play them, she pops in all "I LOVE THIS SONG! eek heart " And it's funny. She's cool.
As for my Dad and Stepmum, they're cool. Though I think I Beatle'd them out this last month. XD But I still think one can't get enough Beatles. ._.;
Interests, obsessions, what have you?
My first huge obsession/interest was the Second World War. From there it branched to the French Revolution, right to the Napoleonic War, then to history in General. Anyone want to have a good history discussion? I'm always open for it, so do IM me. :3
And of course, there's my Beatles obsession. Ringo. RINGO! AND MORE RINGO! n_n But I think everyone knows about this. . . n_n
Current Obsession(s): The Beatles (moreso Ringo.), (don't hurt me, please, this is strictly interest.) the Third Reich, Napoleonic France, Russia.
Warning: I do actually read and quite like Beatle slash, but I won't bother you if you don't. If you do, PM me and we can chat about it. And more, too. I hate talking to someone for only one reason and not trying to get to know them.
For now, I believe that will be all. I have a Greatest Journal if anyone's on there. And if anyone wants to know more of my interests, I have a myspace...
http://myspace.com/my_starr_is_ringo
http://greatestjournal.com/~jagdfliegerpips
And my AIM is Jagdflieger Pips, and if anyone wants to know what the heck that is meant to mean, it's a favourite Luftwaffe ace of mine who got the nickname because he was short. XD
Now, I'm sure I sound like a total dork. But if you're interested, bored, or something, IM me, I'm probably bored too. XD

And now since it's late and I'm very tired and rather sickly in the stomach, I shall be hitting the sack. Yay.
