We've had the best albums of the 90's, now it's time for the worst.
I think that: The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Pavement - Slanted and Enchanted New Order - Republic The Chemical Brothers - Exit Planet Dust The Offspring - Smash Sublime - 40oz. to Freedom Sublime - Sublime Morrissey - Kill Uncle RHCP - One Hot Minute RHCP - Blood Sugar Sex Magik
are all very shitty albums. Especially with the hype most of them had around them
What are your pics?

I agree with a few of those. I'm just surprised that you didn't put any NIRVANA up there xp

As much as I don't like Nirvana that much, I'll admit that they have good songs. I'll never pass up a hearing of "Breed"

Mellon Collie was too overloaded with slow, downbeat songs and the only ones that I thought were good were Stumbleline and Galapagos. As for the more Upbeat songs I thought Ode To No One and Bodies were the only good ones. The other songs weren't that great (maybe 1979 and Tonight, Tonight I'll exclude), the lyrics were lacking and the songs failed to keep my attention. "Despite All My Rage I'm Still Just A Rat In A Cage", all I have to say is c'mon Billy. Slanted and Enchanted went off to a great start and then it went downhill pretty fast. Summer Babe and Trigger Cut were good and No Life Singed Her was probably the most out of place song on the album. The next two tracks were pretty good. But after that there was only two other tracks that I might have liked. I think it was a big dissapointment seeing that there is soo much hype about this record. And the rest I'm too lazy to do, I'm not fit to be a music critic, these are just my choices and I know you have some too smile

Raven The Hippie Why the hell are Red Hot Chili Peppers up there!? gonk Because those are the ones i picked, I'm not a fan of the Chili Peppers and I'm just expressing an opinion. I would love to see your opinions on what you think are the worst albums of the 90's, that's the reason this topic was started wink

I think that if you are disappointed by and album by a band you like, you'll probably be harder on that album as opposed to an album by a band you already know you dont like. Am I right?

Blind Melon's self titled release. Being a one hit wonder, it's no wonder why "no rain" was the only good song on the record. I couldn't even finish listening to some of the songs they sucked so bad.
