The waves were crashing against the side of the ship as the Black Pearl sliced through the water. Jack was back and the crew of the Pearl was overjoyed... But Elizabeth still felt depressed. She sighed, watching the water below as the cool wind whiped her hair back. The woman still felt horrible about what she did to Jack... and how she had momentarily betrayed Will's trust in order to do so.

Thornbird09: Will regarded Elizabeth with a cool expression. He knew she hadn't known he was watching when she kissed Jack - no - sucked his face off. The heart of Davy Jones thumped quietly in it's jar of dirt, resting next to the Captain himself, who was at the wheel. Jack had not changed since escaping from the belly of the Kraken - once a ruthless pirate, always a ruthless pirate. Will knew he meant to kill Davy Jones, but what Jack didn't know was that Will was planning to steal the heart himself, stab it through the middle with Bootstrap's knife, and free his father from Jones' hold once and for all...

Nileregwen DoUrden: Closing her eyes, a sigh escaped Elizabeth as the breeze ruffled her hair once more. She turned slightly, her eyes lighting on Will and the woman smiled.

Ashlin really hated this part of stowing away. Barrels and crates were definatly not desgined or human use, child or otherwise. And the smell wasn't that great either. The amount or alchohol and spoliage on pirate ships alwasy seemed to be more than those of the Navy. Nope not fun. She would definatly be spending a long while massaging the chinks in her neck and other joints once she got out of here. She wasn't sure how long the Pearl had been out of port, but she didn't want to full emerge until she she thought it safe (aka: whenthe crew was feeling generous due to a large amount of rum consumtion). She had snuck out at night a couple times to grab something to eat and drink before shoving herself back inside her barrell. Her stomach growled softly and Ashlin sighed, realizing she would have to make another food run tonight.
But it would be worth it, she kept telling herself. Worth it to see the legend that was Jack Sparrow and go off on a grand adventure to the great unknown.
Ashlin smiled and let her uncomfort be swept away by much more pleasent daydreams

"Bloody hell, why's the rum always gone?" Captain Jack Sparrow muttered to himself as he sauntered on unsteady legs down to the hold. In one hand he held an empty glass bottle, his other kept a grip on the wood around him. The ship was swaying in the breeze and the pirate captain knew that if he tumbled down the stairs, he might never live it down. He had left his jar of dirt and it's fleshy occupant in his cabin before heading down to the hold. Locked away, the key on his person, Jack was taking no chances... especially since the young Turner had yet to abandon his foolish notion of saving his father. Jack walked through the hold, looking for a bottle... but every one was empty. "Time to break out the barrels." he said to himself with a smile, his fingers delicately grasping a nearby cargo hook. Quickly, he walked over to the nearest barrell. It was marked RUM, making the captain's smile widen. "Come to ol' Jack." Sparrow whispered before slamming the hook into the top of the barrel. With a pop, the lid was pried from the top and Jack looked over the edge. One of his eyesbrows quirked up in confusion, "Now... that's interesting..." he whispered at the sight of... A stowaway.

Aslin had heard the tell-tale sounds of someone descending the stairs to the cargo hold. She instantly stilled any shifting she had been doing and slowed her breathing. A breathing barrell would no doubt arowse suspiscion. She almost thought she would amke it until she felt the lid being pried off her barrell. Why did the one marked "RUM" have to be the only empty one on the bloody ship. She looked up from her akward crouch and into the face of...Captian Jack Sparrow.
"Oh, hell" she groaned.

A partial smirk appeared on the Captain's face. "Well well... 'ello, there. Why might ye be hidin' in the rum, ay?" Jack asked, twirling his empty bottle in one hand. ""If ye'd wanted to join me crew, lad, all ye had ta do was ask."

"Seemed like a good idea at ta time, te be perfectly 'onest," Ashlin drawled, climbing out of the barrell with a practiced ease, "And ain't every ship so open, anyways. Better to beg forgivness than ask permisson an' all that good stuff. It's easier, leastwise. And more fun."

"Aye, right you are." Jack replied with a nod. "Well, mate... If ye can get some rum from another barrel, then I'll let ye join me crew." the captain laughed, waving one of his hands in a falling motion. "If not... I'll be throwin' ye overboard."

Aslin just grinned impishly in reply, not mentioning that she was a very good swimmer and would probably just climb up the anchour chain and through a porthole like how she had origionally got onto the Pearl to begin with.
Besides, the captian request was wonderfully simple after days in the cargo hold. The joys rum brough to sailors.
Ashlin moved the lid off a crate next to her barrel and produced two bottles of the desured drink.
"'Ope you don't mind te crate version, Captian,' Ashlin said merrily.

"Not at all!" Jack replied, a look of mock shock in his eyes as he took the bottle. "We need a cabin boy..." the captain whispered, as if talking to himself. "Marty's not really the boy type... short 'nough..." Jack waved one of his hands in dismissal. "Alright, mate. You're our new cabin boy, lad! Welcome aboard!"

Ashlin grinned. Oh yes, the less-than comfortable ride had totally been worth it. Hello adventure, here she comes. She gave Sparrow a salute she had pickd up on a Navy vessal. Navy people didn't grin when they saluted, though. Or have wicked fun parties.
"Yes sir!" she said gleefully, "Um...where we goin'?"
