Favored weapons: Swords and herself----she's a fantastic wrestler/grappler for a little girl, surprisingly strong and flexible. She's not bad with a gun, however---Aera in general is a battle-maven, and will almost always be the first to throw a punch or start a bar-brawl.
Backround: Aera left home at a young age protesting her parent's wishes of marriage, being too headstrong and industrious for any man they tried to match her with. Once the threat came down to either marry (the latest suitor being a wife-beater) or leave.....
Well, she left. Her parents never quite got over this, in fact still issuing rewards out for her capture and return; however, by this time, she's made herself infamous among women on the high sea.
She found herself a ship and a crew, started pillaging and plundering as pirates often do and eventually ran into Jack........
......Something she has regretted ever since. Granted there was a brief romance involved, but once Jack stole the ship in an attempt to evade both her rage and the authorities....
.......Only to crash it two weeks later, killing the entire crew.......
It was pretty safe to say that Aera was no longer intrigued, so much as incensed....more like hellbent on kicking his a**.
After running into him on Tortuga she has relentlessly tagged along in an effort to cheat the man hardcore and achieve her revenge, riches, and whatever other lucky bonuses might happen her way; it took about two years, but her patience was rewarded amply. Ever since, she has been roughhousing the captain by using the same patience and eagerness for opportunities to punch, slap, and kick whenever possible. For a girl, she's one of few who could give Jack a run for his money in fighting, drinking, and ship-thieving, though it's only a matter of time before she issues her coup-de-grace and returns the inconvenience Jack forced on her so long ago.
