Mature Rp. due to: cussing blood sexy comments at every turn whee
This is an Rp based in the early ages of Japan. Near the end of the age of the samurai. There are very few left who know of the way of the sword, because it is a dying art. People have settled and become all about business. Life has become corrupt near the edge of the coastline. A supply shipment of opium went missing one day and the druglord who made it is pissed. Several footsoldiers are searching along the coastline. Near the middle of the nation there is a huge trade business. Several shady men willing to sell you anything that they have. Maybe things that arent even theirs. near the national border there are crossing booths that check your papers to see if you are registered to pass the checkpoint.

The gravel crushed beneath Ginsekus feet as he walked along the rocky path leading to Edo. His kunai clinked. He stopped as the wind began to blow. And leaned back into it. Loving the feeling.

In and Out. That was the motion of the ocean water at the base of the cliffs. Sayuri stood at the top listening to the sounds of the water and wind. They flowed together as one. As she stood there, she listened to the wind. The wind after all, knows all. Sayuri could feel a change in the air and knew something was different about it. She moved away from the edge and on towards a city out of reach of the violent storm that may be coming.

There was a strange presence in the wind, that felt familiar somehow. He opened his eyes, looking down on the busy city. There were people entering and leaving. He saw multiple people with swords. He looked beyond the city, towards the plains beyond. The out to the small line of blue on the horizon, which was the ocean. He thought he could see figures moving in the distance, along the line. But he dismissed it as an illusion. He entered the gates, crossing over the bridge. And stopping at an unage stand, he ordered some food to eat.

Sayuri walked the distance to the closest city, looking for shelter. The air seemed colder and the wind fiercer. A storm was definately coming. She walked towards a cart selling food and inquired about the cost. Remembering she had little money and she would need to save it for some place to stay, Sayuri passed on by the cart even though her stomach begged her not to. She looked around for a place to sleep at, but all were too rich for her. She would have to sleep outside. This did not cause anguish to Sayuri though, due to the fact that she had slept outside before for many occasions.

Ginseku turned around, with three sets of Unage in hand. He sat down near a well. Eating one of the sets, then moving to the next. Suddenly he heard a growl behind him, on the opposite side of the well. He looked around the edge of the well, and saw a woman not too far off who was holding her stomach. She looked slightly dizzy, due to the lack of food. He looked down at his food. Knowing that it was too much for him. He sighed. He stood. There was a flash of lightning, followed up by a boom of thunder. A huge wave of dirt formed from nowhere, distorting everyones vision. Ginseku was standing on top of a bulding now, and was looking down on the confused people. He had wrapped the remaining unage, and about 50 Mon (japanese gold coins, worth quite alot)and dropped it in front of the hungry woman. He felt a raindrop. And stared up at the sky. Just as it began to sprinkle.

Sayuri was suddenly hit by some coins and what appeared to be food. Not knowing from where it came, she looked up and saw what appeared to be a man. A warrior, most likely a samurai at that. Looking for a way up to where he was to thank him, she noticed the entrance to the building. She ran for it and proceeded to climb up to where he was. As she looked on at him she questioned saying, "Are you the one who drop this food and Mon for me?"

"Please...was it you..." Sayuri's sentence dropped off as she sensed something familiar about the stranger. She felt the cool drops of rain fall on her as she looked up to the clouds and enjoyed for a split second the beauty of the rain. She couldn't contain herself. It had been so long since she had been in a good rain that she just had to dance in it. Sayuri began dancing like a child often does when the first rain arrives after a long drought. Yet, as she danced, she asked once again of the man, "Sir, are you the one who offered me so much of your generosity?"

Ginseku faintly answered, just as it began to sprinkle a little more. "Yes.."

Sayuri stopped dancing, realizing how childish it was. "Then I thank you very much. I however can not accept this generosity. It is too great and I have been taught to never accept anything from strangers and to fend for myself. I am sorry if I have offended you." Sayuri set the gifts down by his feet and backed away, bowing. She turned to walk away.

"My name is Ginseku. So I am no longer a stranger to you." There was a flash of lightning, and he was gone. She felt a small lump form in her kimono pocket. It was the presents.

Sayuri looked around for Ginseku as he called himself. "WAIT! COME BACK!" she cried out to him. She looked up into the cloudy night sky, gazing intently upon the raindrops that fell.
