I found out a while ago that in German, Axel means "Devine Reward". I guess He is, in a way.^ ^
It really surprised me that Axel was a German name. Just wasn't what I had expected. I think it's a really neat fact though.

Square Enix tends to be exceptionally gifted at incorporating many cultures into their games.
Incidentally, and this may be a bit off topic, in someone's join request they informed me that if you mix up the letters in Xemnas, it spells mansex. xd I had to tell someone!

Hey, I've got a question. How old do you think Axel would be if he had an age? I was debating this in the Demyx thread about Demyx earlier, and now I'm wondering about Axel. I think he could pull a very mature-looking older teen (like Riku can pull that sixteen-going-on-twenty-six look), but he's still rather manly looking (and don't I love that manliness heart ). Maybe...twenty one or so?

Hmm...I think I can see Axel drinking alcohol (wouldn't that be a sight?), so he's probably over twenty one. Not that you need to be over twenty one to drink, but still. I'm just hoping for over eighteen. twisted Aren't his arms skinny? o_o Sorry, that just popped into my head.

Hmm, Yes, i'd say about 20ish. (Quinton Flynn is 42, that really amazed me, because he sounds much much younger.) So I guess my plan of "basing Axel's age off of his voice actor" plan wouldn't work...
But yeah, I think twenty-ish would be about right.

I lurve Mr. Flynn. He did Reno as well. He must have a thing for redheads. xd I think it's in Axel 8's siggy, but there's this little sprite of Axel and Reno with a caption that says, "I'm Reno's Nobody." I love VA references...
Once again, on an off-topic kinda thing, Saix's VA (Kirk Thornton) is one of my favorites. Ever.

Lol, I practically worship Flynn. I think he did an amazing job! No one could have pulled off "Got it Memorized" better than he did.
He did a great job as Reno too. I could totally see Axel and Reno as twins. heart
