I just had this idea of a great replacement for Adult Swim on Saturday nights.... bring back toonami: the midnight run and change the name to Toonami: NightShift.
Yes, I know that toonami is already on saturday nights exclusively. And yes, I know that [AS] may never give up the sat night spot. This is mearly an idea.
But here it is:
When it reaches 11:00 pm, Tom says something like "well thats it for me tonight,,,,,, blah blah blah" and then a different guy/girl/robot comes on for the nightshift. they introduces themself and start the shows. Basicly it will be [AS], Somewhat uncensored shows, with a little Toonami flavor mixed in. The new host will basicly be hacking the secret files on the abosllution (i think thats the name of the ship) and playing the special shows.
the lineup would be:
Outlaw Star
Pilot Candidate (Candidate For Goddess)
Dragonball
Record Of Lodos War
.......... I can't think of any other good shows
we need another 4 hours of anime to add to this.
It needs to be untill 5:00 am and it needs to be different shows than are already on, Preferably shows that can be shown to 14 to 17 year olds.
Line up (edited with everyones ideas):
11:00 Full Metal Alchemist
11:30 IGPX
12:00 Dragonball
12:30
1:00 Outlaw Star
1:30 Moble Suit Gundam: The 08th M.S. Team
2:00 Candidate For Goddess (Pilot Candidate)
2:30
3:00
3:30 Record of Lodos War
4:00
4:30

Well they have Full Metal Alchemist and they just moved (@!#%^*@$#!#@$#@*!!!!) IGPX to it so those could be included in your lineup.
They probably wouldn't do that though with their Toonami Jetstream and such now.

They probably wouldn't do that though with their Toonami Jetstream and such now.
I think that they might do this. IGPX would have to be on there. but I don't know about FMA. Adult Swim already has that.

Actually I havn't seen any of the shows you said except I think I saw Outlaw Star a few times and from what I remember it was really boring...

I thought that you wanted this to replace Adult Swim so I put those into the mix since they are successful shows that are going to be on it.
How can you not like IGPX? It has good action and a pretty good storyline even for a racing show. Artwork is awesome too.

Ok, your right about Dragonball and you might be right about IGPX, but we need something to hook the AS and Toonami fans there already are. thats why there's FMA on there.
