Let's just admit it, we all love anime. In some form or fashion, everyone has watched anime at least once, sometimes knowing and sometimes not.
Now, you have to admit that the anime of Hunter x Hunter does explain how Nen and other things work much better than reading the manga does. It just seems to make sense when someone explains it vocally. (for most)
So here we will do the same we do for the manga section! Chat, talk, rant, scream, squee and ect. except about the anime this time!

to be honest i am a little confused with your list... but that's okay... i have all the episodes on dVd up to the first oVA i really should get the last OVAs, but i don't have the money right now... I also own about ten HxH Cds and they're pretty good... half of them are either drama CDs or have vocal tracks... and the other half are sound tracks for the different sagas. i have two Kurapika plushies, two kurapika pins, a Killua pin, a kurapika action figure... it's so tiny... and a keychain set of three of Kurapika's nen chains. Anyway... back to the anime... i adore it.. and i love listening to the seiyuu (Voice actors) and seeing if i can find them in other anime i watch... that or looking them up and finding out what other anime they have worked in and then going out a buying it. for instance... takeuchi Junko voices gon... and she voices naruto... and Gomomon from Digimon season one. kaida Yuki voices kurapika and I think she voices Ouka from one of the .hack series. i'm not so educated. forgive me if i went off topic.

Well, you certainly sound educated to me. You certainly know more about it than I do, that's for sure. ^^
I was never one to be interested in the people behind the characters. I get sucked in by the characters themselves, and I get obsessed with everything about them and their world. But I tend to bypass the voice actors. I have problems with reality so I tend to avoid it. x3
As for the anime, I was surprised. The first episode I actually watched was when Killua faced Illumi during the Hunters Exam. I didn't like the quality of the anime, the visuals and effects and such. So I didn't watch another episode for a really long time. Finally, I decided to check it out from the beginning, and this time I really enjoyed it. ^^ Sure showed me! xD

I also have problems with reality... but... i deal with it as it comes at me... not well mind you... and that's why i watch anime... it helps me escape to a world that isn't so frustrating. don't get me wrong... i can distinguish reality from fantasy... I just prefer to live in a fantasy world. However I do like looking up the voice actors... i admire them because they essentially provide the emotions you hear in the character's voice and for instance... if someone else voiced Killua... people would probably have a slightly different opinion on him. I am crazy about Megumi Ogata... she voices kurama in japanese... and i absolutely adore her.

Heh. I know a friend you may want to talk to. He's a big Kurama fan too. x3
As for reality, I've just got a whole lot of issues, and I also find reality to be excruciatingly boring. I try to get interested in things, but I can never stick with anything. So I spend my life on the internet and watching/reading/creating anime. Verb. It's what you do. x33

I understand what you're saying, but when I watch the anime I see those emotions as being Killua's, not someone else's. I can't help it. That's why I get so attached to the characters. Because, to me, they're not characters anymore.

Ah... is your friend attracted to kurama... or does he just enjoy the character as a character? Yo know... like Rping and analyzing him... oh... and he doesn't go by shuuichi or Waffles does he? Um... right.... I do believe that the characters are not just the voice actor... and that they are their own people... after all they are in the manga and no voices are provided for the manga. ^^ i guess the voice actors are just an added treat in my opinion. T me... the characters from an anime series... if they are well developed... they become their own person... and i feel that way about the character from YYH and HxH among other anime/manga.

Yeah. I know what you mean. And the voices are definitely an added bonus, whether you're into the voice actors or not. ^^
As for my friend, he actually goes by Rinku. x3 And he enjoys Kurama for his character, not because of any sort of sick attraction. xD

ah... i see... does he have a gaia account? i hope i am not to forward when asking that... i certainly wouldn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. i actually envy the voice actors... i would love to provide a voice for a character... it would be fun... To be honest... if hxh is brought to america and put into english... i already know who i want for some of the characters.

I've always wanted to voice act an anime character. x3 I never really understood why 'cause to be honest I'm not very good. But I guess it has to do with becoming part of a fantasy world. I don't know any actors so I couldn't say whom I'd want to voice whom, but I know plenty of people I wouldn't want to voice act certain characters. x3
To be honest, my voice would probably befit a boy better than a girl. I'm not sure though. But I can say it would be awfully fun to voice Killua, Leorio, Hisoka, or Biscuit. ^^ Awfully fun, indeed. *wry grin*

I can't sing to save my life, but... i often find myself singing karaoke with Kurapika and Leorio's version of tobira... and i sing kurapika's parts... i can actually get my voice deep enough where it sounds like yuki kaida singing... except not in key...

So do I, lol. Except I sing while listening to it on my Mp3 player. It makes for a great boredom reliever while I'm making beds at my job. I can do Kurapika's part pretty well, and I've been working on Leorio's. I don't advise trying ot sound like them. Just sing the notes at your own voice pitch. If it's too low just try up the octave.
