Welcome to the Sega's Not Dead! forums! Since the guild is currently public, it's okay to just pop in and look around for a while if you like. However, I'd like for any who are interested in being a member to request membership, since I plan to make the guild private within a week wink Please introduce yourself here. If you wish, you can also discuss some of your favorite games~ 3nodding
I'll start. Heheh. Cue cheesy schoolgirl effect.

Hi I am a pro-nintendo gamer but I did enjoy sega games as well I think sega did come out with its best games on the dreamcast but that's only my opinion... I love games like echo: the dolphin, sonic adventure ^.^, dragon panzer, and phantasy star (not the online but the actual games)

I started ranting in my guild joining thingy, so I copied and pasted it. sweatdrop
Sega rocks. I grew up as a Sega fan.
I wish Sega was more popular outside of England though, I can't believe America never got the Master System... no wonder everyone loves the NES there.
I still can't understand how people enjoy the antics of a slow fat Italian plumber through 8 'worlds' that all look exactly the same, to Sonic which had six beautifully crafted and designed zones, all with better graphics, individual enemies, and most importantly, different freaking bosses. No, I do not believe that jumping over the same boring bad guy and hitting one switch to kill it should be considered a 'boss'. ^^;

Though I do live in America (moving out of this hellhole as soon as possible >>;; ) I've grown up with Sega. My friends get tired of listening to me rant about how idiotic the Mario series is, heheh sweatdrop

Well I like nintendo even though it does get rather repetative but I don't think that any of the games I have for Sega Genesis will ever get boring... lol except for Echo, that game was only boring because I suck at jumping over the rocks... so do any of you guys have sega gamegear?

And like that other person said...hiting switches is not the way to beat a boss... Ah!!!! Initial D!!!! I love Initial D... Ages ago, when Ver.1 was the only one out, I spent like £30 in a day on it.. I had three of the four course cleared prints on my card, the only one I didn't have was Akina (I had trouble beating the last person)... There is something sooo cool about going so fast and sliding around corners in those racing games.. I've never liked cars at all, and usually don't care about racing games, but somehow I think Initial D is really awesome. I think it's the fact you can kinda 'feel' where you're driving with the steering wheel, and turn it real fast to go around sharp corners.. it really gets you excited ^_^ Plus, Takumi's awesome in the series, and the fact you can perform techniques in the anime like gutter runs, and level up your car, makes it so much better. I haven't played it much recently though, I've played Ver.2 about 10 times or so, and Ver.3 only once ^^;;

Ecco was fun.. but hard.. for me, anyway ^^; It was kinda hard to get used to the way Ecco swam, and it was very easy to get hurt. They were really beautiful though at the time, both the Megadrive and Dreamcast versions. Oh, and I'm 19. ^_^

Hello. ^^ I'm Kasey, I'm 15, and I love in Michigan, USA. I grew up with my older siblings playing Genesis, and then my brother bought a Sega CD. Did anyone here ever play a Sega CD? It was like a crappy version of Saturn. So yeah. Favorite games: All the Sonic games, of course, all of the Simpsons games... hmm.. and a lot of others I can't think of right now. Well, there's my introduction. 3nodding

I only played a real Sega CD (or Mega CD as it was known here ^^ wink a few times at a friends house, and I only played Sonic CD ^^;;
However, recently, with the powers of emulators and ebay, I've gotten to see such awesome games such as Lunar and Lunar 2 ^_^

Hey everyone, I still have my Genesis and Dreamcast, and I play them regularly. I’m hoping to get a SEGA CD, 32X, and Saturn. The sonic series is still one of my favorite series on all the SEGA systems. I also love the games from Treasure. (Gunstar, Heroes, Dynamite Headdy, etc.)
