Intro:

It was dark--the moon was out. He was running, his long hair thrashing behind him, Dark's hand entwined with his own. Tress flew past them as they ran, their pace quickening. Footsteps could be heard behind them.
"Krad--Krad he's catching up," came Dark's frantic voice, "We've got to hurry!"
"I know, but--"
"KRAD!" Dark lunged at the blonde, sheilding him with his body.
"Dark--what are you--why!?" Krad exclaimed, his eyes widening with sheer terror as Dark slid limply onto the ground, wincing in pain. Blood trickled over his weary form, and Krad sank to his knees as he stared at the arrow piercing his lovers form.
"Dark...?" He whispered quietly.
There was no answer. Dark was dead, and Krad knew it. This wasn't the first time he'd seen this.
The blonde gripped now in his hands an old sword, glistening in the pale moon's light. He rose to his feet as he pointed Dark's sword and the assassain before him--the assassain his own family had sent after him.
Words were exchanged, battle enseud, and the hooded man fell to his knees, clutching his ever bleeding stomach. Too much blood had been lost, he knew without proper medical aid that he would die. He watched, even as his gaze was dimming, as the blonde that had so easily slain him raised his own sword so that the point was aimed directly at his own chest. "What are you doing...?" The young assassain had asked as he watched the youth aim the sword at his own heart.
The reply was simple, "I loved him. I really loved him. Without him...I have no life...I don't want to be without him."

Krad opened his eyes and heaved a long sigh, watching as a gust of wind breezed through the trees, shaking free from the branches a large sum of brown and orange leaves. The sun was setting in the distance, casting looming shadows acroos the land. It was late Autumn, and everything was dying.

"Hey, what's wrong...?" Dark asked, placing a hand on the blonde's shoulder as he sat down on the large brick monument next to his love.

"I was thinking, that's all."

"Not something pleasant, obviously." Dark teased, and Krad simply nodded, "No, not unless you're some sort of masochist," came the quiet answer.

Dark chuckled, but his laughter died down quickly. "We should move..."

Krad's eyes flicked over to Dark's still tanned face. "Why's that? Did you sense something?"

"Nah, it's nothing like that. It's just....there are some kids coming. Two boys, at least--there might have been a girl or two; I only stayed for a minute."

"Oh, I see. But why would they be heading to a cemetary, Dark? It seems a little unlikely..."

Dark shrugged. "They had flowers. Maybe they came to visit someone?"

A small smile tugged on the blonde's lips. "How touching."

Dark grinned again, "Oh, you. You're just jealous because no one ever came to give you flowers after you passed."

"Perhaps," Krad admitted, "I am a little sore. It wasn't the same for me as you--you at least had that Harada girl...what was her name? Ri...Ri-something. Rika, was that it?"

Dark nodded. "She was sweet. I miss her, sometimes."

"I'm feeling a little more sore, now that you've said that..." Krad said with a small sigh. "Oh well. Those children--you're really worried about them seeing us here?"

"Well...I guess not. Why?"

"They're heading up that clearing now...I can see them."

"Oh. Well," Dark said, cocking his gaze towards the little group as he noted that there were indeed two girls, "I guess that means that they can see us, too."

The group of four opened the creaky iron gates and stepped into the aged cemetary, laughing slightly. Krad's eyes narrowed as they approached; he rose from his seat. "Hey...Krad?"

The blonde took a step foreward, his eyes focused on the boy with vibrant blue hair holding a redheads hand. Dark was behind him in an instant, following his gaze. "Krad--what is it? Who's that kid you're looking at?"

Krad was silent for a long moment. "His eyes...he is Hikari."

((Feel free to join--I am not playing anyone at the moment, I just felt as though I should give a breif introduction for the lot of you to work off of. I might join in later if no one else is interested, or...whatever.))
