Let's all learn Japanese together! From today onwards each day I'm gonna post one sentence/vocab/etc with Kanji (if any), Hiragana, Romaji (the pronunciation) and the English translation ^^~ Good idea eh? Let's start with something easy that some of you may already be familiar with... hmm... Oh yeah, please correct me if I made any mistakes by chance =P

English: Good night (formal) - normally used before going to bed
Note: Formal-form are usually said to your parents, grandparents, uncles/aunties, teachers, strangers or anyone older, etc while informal-form are usually said to your siblings, cousins, friends or anyone around your age/younger than you/you're familiar with, etc.

I agree with Haycock. I don't have a Hiragana chart to show the characters on my compy... sweatdrop
I know a little Japanese... well, a bit of the Hiragana alphabet. xp

Well, here's a new word:
Romaji: tsuchinoko
Hiragana: Erm... my compy doesn't have a translator thing... o.O;
What is it: A mythical type creature... basically a snake with a fat middle section, and chirps. It is said to like sake. (xDDD lol). If you would like to know how it looks like, feel free to visit [Goldfish_Sushi]'s profile. You can't miss it. xp
