Japanese Tour to Anime Expo
The Japan Travel Bureau (JTB) has announced an SPJA sanctioned tour from Japan to Anime Expo 2007. In addition to visiting AX in Long Beach, the tour will also visit Disney Land in Anaheim.

ANIME EXPO 2007 ANNOUNCES FIRST U.S. GUEST OF HONOR
Anime Expo announces acclaimed voice actor, singer, writer and director Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as the 1st Guest of Honor.
She is well-known as an actress for many diverse roles such as "Kurenai" from NARUTO, "Julia” and “Twinkle Maria Murdock" from COWBOY BEBOP, "Helba" from .HACK, "Jagura" from WOLF’S RAIN and “Caroline” from VAMPIRE HUNTER D. Most notably, she portrayed “Major Motoko Kusanagi” in GHOST IN THE SHELL: INNOCENCE, SOLID STATE SOCIETY and GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX which she won the first ever American Anime Award for Best Actress.

As you all should know by now, registration for AX '07 is up. 4-day badge prices are as follows:
Jan 1st - Mar 16th = $50
Mar 17th - May 31st = $55
Jun 1st till the con = $60 (door price)

The Renaissance Hotel, Hyatt Regency and Westin of Long Beach have been listed as the official hotels of the convention and are now offering special room rates for AX attendees.
Attendees have the luxury of booking these specially rated rooms via online at:

No special code is needed. Limited rooms are available and attendees are encouraged to book their hotels early.
