Roses in Winter as strange as it may seem is clear to the point like Death in a Dream. On that cold snowy day, The Day of Your Death,i carried roses from the ground. In my frostbitten hands frozen blood dripped to the snow. The roses were red as blood to match my hands. the stems were green as envy the emotion many people fear. And my tear stained face displayed a mask of love. i didnt feel the roses thorns cut my hands nor did i feel envy for when your loved other than me. For i did feel love and as all love feels. The knife of love stabbed me in the back and it stabbed you to. So Roses in Winter are not to be said as Christmas on The Fourth of July. no. Roses in Winter is like Love. It cannot be understood nor taken lightly Roses in Winter is seriours just the same way as Love.

That first line has me....hypnotized almost. @_@ I love it.....
"Roses in winter, as strange as it may seem, is clear to the point like Death in a Dream...."
*can see myself writing that in my notebooks and the such once school starts* sweatdrop

I like the poem. Some people would say it's too dark, but then again, a lot of poems are dark! True poems come from the heart. What inspires a poem more than dark thoughts?
