Between MommaSnoopy and Pixie's houses, there was a little cottage owned by Pixie. From the beach thread... Days went by as days generally do. ((Hey we could be here all year otherwise, MS and I decided to help things along.)) Pixie bought the two houses and moved into the larger one. She figured the smaller one might come in handy one day. After all, her pets were growing up and getting lives of their own. Rhed and Minty were wearing a path into the path that ran in front of their houses.

Rhed cuddled the baby dragons, passing Dylan to Minty so he could bond with his son.

Dylan lets out a few loud yelps, Minty almost jumps out of his skin, panicking he calls for Rhed O.o
"Rhed! Rhed! What have I done? Dylan won't stop crying"

"It's ok," reassures Rhed. "Just rock him gently like this." She demonstrates with Anais.
Just then there is a knock at the door. It is Skye, come to visit.
"Hi, I've come to see the babies. I hope you don't mind I brought Tess with me," whispers Skye, worried she will disturb the babies.
"You don't have to whisper, it's ok, and yes come on in with Tess," says Rhed warmly.

"Ooh, the babies are very sweet," says Skye. "Do you want to hold Anais?" offers Rhed. "Oh if you're sure it's ok," replies Skye. So she has a turn of holding the little baby girl dragon.

"Aww, she's adorable," mindspeaks Skye. "I'd love to have a little one like this. Can I hold Dylan now?" She hands Anais back to Rhed.

Skye isn't bothered by the crying. She rocks the little dragon and starts humming to him. The crying becomes a whimper until gradually the baby falls asleep. "Don't worry Minty, I'm sure he would have dozed off for you. He just wasn't ready yet. This world is all so new to him."
