 Hi and welcome to the first Bamboo Babies Art Contest! I love art, I mean who doesn't? So I decided to place a special event that would demonstrate other peoples abilities and their love for Bamboo Babies.

Since there was only one submission for the C.G. category it will automatically be placed on the last poll which will decide the all out winner of the contest!

I'm sorry it took so long to update this. I'm not sure when, but I'll do my best to try and send the prizes as soon as I'm done with the finals and get my hands on any computer with Internet connection.

 If you want to join the contest it is required for you to read the rules and procedures.
Art theft is a big no no. So submitting stolen art or stealing art from here will get you in huge trouble.
Please no entries bigger than 800 X 600.
Entries must follow Gaia's Terms of Service and Rules and Guidelines.
If you wish to enter you must fill out the form provided bellow and send it through a Private Message to me, Mad~Madisson, with the subject Bamboo Babies Art Contest.
You can enter each Category only once.
Example: You felt extremely creative today and made three entries. One for CG, one Traditional Art and the last for Sketch.
There is no entry fee to participate.
One the contest a poll will be made for the submissions to compete against the ones under the same category. The ones that win under each category will end up in the final poll that will decide the winner. For this I will use Snap Poll, this way I can prevent multiple voting from mules.
Second and third place receive a little surprise gift after the contest is over.
Rules can be added and edited by me whenever I feel it necessary.

Categories
Pixel Art: Pixel art is art created on the computer through the use of raster graphics software that allows images to be edited on the pixel level. Graphics in most old computer games or even in Game Boy games are considered pixel art. If you decide to use a base please post the base and the name of it's creator.
Traditional Art: This will have three sub categories.
Pencil Drawing: A entry made entirely by pencil.
Inked: A entry that is usually inked with markers or pens. These entries are usually black and white.
Traditional Media: Entries that are colored with watercolors, markers, colored pencils, acrilycs, oil pastels, and many other items used to color.
CG: CG means either computer graphics or computer-generated art work.
Other characters
You can add these to your entry if you'd like. Adding them wont increase your chances of winning.
 Madisson
The Pet Shop owner. She's the one that takes care of the pets before they get adopted. She has red eyes and red short hair, two dark red streaks of hair right above her ears. She usually wears a short white T-shirt, big baggy green pants with big black boots.
Addie
Is usually seen near Madisson. Addie is the shops mascot, the first Bamboo Baby and the only talking fox in the pet shop. He tries to help around as much as he can by trying to help the other pets feel right at home. Addie doesn't really look like regular foxes should. His feet, ears and tail are the regular reddish fox color, his body is a kind of peach color and he has red hair on his head and also has red eyes.

It's one per category, so if your willing to make one of each you can.
When will it end?
Contest will end August 25, 2006!
What will we win?
The winner of each category wins a totally custom Bamboo Baby.
How will the winner be chosen?
So far I'm the only judge. If anyone else is willing to lend a helping hand please pm. There will be one winner per category, the sub category winners will be competing with each other for that category.

 The prize is a completely custom Bamboo Baby. Since it's a prize you can ignore the prices.
Border color change: 50g [standard blue is free of charge]
Custom Border decoration: 80g +80 if animated= 160g

Color changing a existing Border decoration: 50g + the borders cost BACKGROUND
Existing Background with no change: 10g
