Name: Ebon

Species: Storm Dragon

Physical Description: Four legged, two winged, long, slim, and slender build. Similar in overall length and size to a water dragon, but somewhat lighter. The majority of her scales are shiny black, which gave her the name Ebon. She has dark gray speckles along her spine, on her cheeks, shoulders, and on her hips. Her eyes and underbelly are silver in color.

Background: Ebon is what we like to call a Storm dragon. They like to fly in (you guessed it!...) storms. Ebon in particular likes sea storms, since they tend to get really nasty, and she likes the challenge. Storm dragons are rare in Anthedon because they're not native to this set of continents, and when the rest of the family decided to move back home across the ocean, she stayed on Anthedon since she was born there. She's basically a wanderer, on uneasy but civil terms with the dragons who habitate the areas she's been in. She makes sure they aren't going to chase her out before she goes somewhere. She eats fish and sometimes birds most of the time; usually stuff the other dragons aren't normally interested in. She's developed a weird taste for sharks, too... o.0 She's the only adult in the group at the moment, though she's not actually terribly much older than the other two.

Other: Ebon seems to be mute to magic. Not the type you can learn, but the inborn talents most dragons have with magic are difficult for her to grasp. She has been able to use them from time to time, but those periods have been sporadic and far between. The most noticable side effect of this fact is that she has never been able to use the eletrical breath weapon bestowed upon most Storm dragons by birth.

Name: Pyre

Species: Fire Dragon

Physical Description: ??? (thinking of a molten lava sort of coloring pattern, haven't decided...)

Background: Pyre is usually quiet... you know, "tall dark and silent", or something. He has a bit of a problem with handling his anger; he has a bit of a methodical and cruel streak. He doesn't just kill something - he makes quite sure that there is no debate that it's dead, going to stay dead, and usually do so in a crushed and shredded state. He was a citizen dragon when he was young, but a wildfire destroyed the home of himself and his guardian... the guardian went to live with some relatives she didn't know very well that lived rather far away, and because he was still rather small, he was unable to defend himself or his guardian when they were both abused by the jealous and hateful relatives. After he got bigger and stronger he took her and they fled, but she got sick and died (something like pneumonia when they were far from medical care)... So when he sees someone being abusive or cruel to someone else he tends to want to dismember them, and he doesn't necessarily have an easy time trusting humans, though he's just fine with other dragons. The only humans he deals easily with are guardians, because he remembers his own. But... I guess he's one of the "quiet ones" we're supposed to watch. XD; Ebon and Glacia found him wandering and lost and took him in. He's actually the youngest of the three, though not all that much younger than Glacia.

Marks Ebon's first meeting with Vix, Hakan, and Luffen. She's only just gotten there, and thus far has noted that Luffen reminds her of her uncle, and that Vix is extremely exuberant. Hakan just woke up, so Ebon doesn't know what to make of her yet.
