Last week in the mountains I was reading in a clearing, trying to escape the pure agony of 46 mosquito bites, and I looked up to see a little plant moving back and forth. There was absolutely no wind and no other plants were moving. I started asking yes or no questions and the plant bobbed or swayed in answer. That was my most recent. I've had many.

Yes and No...I am overcoming past religious abuses and studying Wicca. I have been interested in Wicca for as long as I can remember but it was a forbidden thing and so I tried not to embrace that curiousity for a long time. However, I have seriously been studying it for 4 years and have been practicing a little over a year.

I was 11 years old and in the basement of my mom's home. My stepdad lived in the basement and he had a lot of interesting books, I was checking out the bookshelf. The room got really cold and then I felt something like hands on my shoulders. When I moved the hands turned into claws and scratched me. I ran so fast up the stairs that I don't remember getting to the top and I was crying. My mom helped me tend the wounds, she never believed me, thought I was lying about something in the basement.
Later that night...I mean dark and everyone is asleep...I heard something and felt scared so I got out of bed and went and hid in the corner. I saw something dark and totally demon-like come into the room and tear up my bed when it found I wasn't there. I got in trouble by my mom because of the shredded sheets.

Yes and no. I learned a little about it few years ago, but all I had to go on was stuff I looked up on the internet, and stuff that friends I had, that said they were Wiccan, had told me. I performed a few simple spells. One worked. I had no guidance. I needed a teacher. I wouldn't say I'm exactly practicing, yet, because I'm still learning everything. I have a looooooong way to go. I practice what I have learned so far.
Are You A Newcomer To Wicca Magic?
Yes, but I had always had a curiousity about Wicca, but I had grown up in another religion that had no tolerence for other religions, so I held back learning about it. When I stopped practicing the religion I grew up with, I decided that I would decide for myself if Wicca was right for me. I decided to start reading about it and I found a really good teacher, who recommended some very informative books.
