Hello, my name is Midnight Yume. You can call me Yume, or Midnight, but I prefer Yume. 3nodding I've been hanging around the Puri thread for a month or two, and I'm the owner of Sachiko. 3nodding I like playing video games, being online on Gaia and colour lineart. whee So far I've only got two Breedables, but I love them very much. ^^
My Puri is called Sachiko and is female. She likes playing tag and hide-and-seek. And even though she's mostly older than her playmates, she's very childish. whee Sachiko loves jumping on people's heads, and dislike thinking about how old she is (she doesn't like being older than her playmates and is often complaining about her age; she keeps saying she's an "old ma'am").

[EDIT]I forgot to add that it's a VEEERY good idea to keep the thread clean and friendly. So far it is, but you never know what might happen. ><;;; Here is an example of a not-so-very-nice introduction:

OK, that was just an example, so for you who are just about to flame me for saying the staff members and owners are dumb, please, that was just an example of how you should NOT introduce yourself. Begging and whining in your introduction isn't a very nice addition, and saying the staff members are dumb - or anyone else (you can say it jokingly, like, "[Insert Person Here] dragged me off to the Puri thread and made me addicted razz ") will definitely NOT increase your chances in getting a Puri, if you're a non-owner and believe you'll get a Puri because you write like that. And writing text that is unpleasant for readers' eyes is not very nice, you know. <.>;;; [/EDIT]

[EDIT NR 2] Pleeaaase do not ask questions in this thread. This is an introduction, not a FAQ. If you've any questions, feel free to look at my "Guide: How to get a Puri" and if you still cannot find your answer there, post there. For example, it might turn out like this:
Person #1: How do you get a Puri?
Person #2: Look out for flatsales and auctions.
Person #3: Wasn't it something else, too? A... lottery?
Person #4: A raffle...
Person #1: What's a flatsale?
Person #5: That's when you claim an egg. I think there's a set price, but I'm not so sure...
Person #4: No, there isn't. It changes all the time.
Person #3: I remember the first flatsale...

Youkochylde is a rather inquisitive, effeminate, and annoying foxboi, who happened to be lucky enough to type AUTOBUY! first in an auction that was being stalked by no less than eighty people.

This led to much PMing, much screaming, much begging, whining and promises of sexual favours if he would just give up the Puri.

And after Envy was done, he got it from everyone else on Gaia too.

Finally, things settled into a bit of normalcy and he became quite attached to the Puris and the others in the thread. He also WOULD have a water puri, if he hadn't been stupid in the 'Let's Make a Deal' event. xd

CHAI:


A siamese Puri who was the ORIGINAL New Years Raffle puri... but due to a mixup, he was auctioned ten days later instead. Youko got lucky and became the owner of a vivacious little fluffball named Chai.

While he didn't get along with many other puris at first, he did finally meet and find his niche with the Gen 2 puris. He was rather quickly attached to a little rose coloured girl named Mimi, and also became friends with Avari and a couple of others.

When the puri thread reopened, he was the first to eat the magical radishes that a select few of the owners had been able to receive and ran away from home for a period of time. When he came back, it was with a bag over his head and pink fur... and it took nearly an hour to coax him out of the bushes. Finally, he came out fully, and was ecstatic when the pink wore off....

...until Mimi saw him and realised that Chai had grown up without her.

This spelled the end of his membership in the UFA, and the beginning of nearly three months of guilt trips from Mimi as well as ribbing from Youko and several others about 'liking them young'.

It can be said without doubt that the happiest day of his life was the day Mimi grew up... and they have four eggs to show for it.

Hi. I'm Andrea. I'm in my mid-twenties, graduated a few years ago but still no luck on the job front. I'm a writer who'd like to get into freelance writing, but I'm a big chicken and scared to take the big leap to start. I'm also scared to actually get a license, which would probably change a lot about me.

I love the breedable pets on Gaia, and spend most of my time in the Faekat guild and my Disgaea guild. Lately, I've only been visiting the threads I normally visit, since I just don't have the time to venture out and see new things. Ah well.

I got my first Puri by being the first one to answer Puppy's flat sale question. Thank God I'm a Muppets fan.
